Black Friday Containers

Been extremely busy with work, only a little bit into the first part of the mission the 30k commander exp bit, see I still have a few days left but know I'm going to still also be really busy.... Out of interest what kinds of things drop from these containers? Anything unique or noteworthy? Honestly if it's just generic signals I may have to give it a pass :/

There are a limited number of these containers you can buy for 250 dubloons in the armory as well as the 10 total containers that are available freely from missions.

Oh cheers my bad. I searched through 14 'new' news things when signing in looking for something like that. Premium ships eugh… I shall have to make time for the grind.

In all honesty they are trash this year had six free containers so far first 2 were 4 shadow lurkers camo's, next 2 were 1 day premium and the two just now were another 4 camo's. Probably spend more decent camo's grinding them than I got in return.

 

The chances of it dropping a ship on a free container these days must be astronomical, bought containers on the other hand seem to do a bit better on that score....

Turns out I actually have a day off tomorrow, the first in 14 days lol so may have time to clear the 30k free exp if I spam signals. The 4th stage 30k base exp though... that's basically 30 battles... 30 winning battles and moderately okay winning battles at that... dunno if I'll have the time.

Yeah that's the one I'm on just gonna play and see what happens judging by the first 6 not worth busting a gut for.

I just got the Sims B in my last container upon completing the mission!

A little confused as it included a bonus mission for some 'gold' but the mission is for the Sims ... not the Sims B.

The dubloons mission is compensation for people who already owned the original Sims, since it is identical to the Sims B aside from the camo.

I thought last day for the BF-containers was today, Dec 9th.

But the mission is gone now.

Mission and event end dates in WoWs are always early hours of that day (0600 CET or 0700 CEST, depending on which time standard is currently in use).

Then they should say Ends Dec 8th in game since new day basically is at 0600 according to them. I only one or two games worth of base xp left for last containers, paused that until today because the missions said "ends Dec 9". And here I am on Dec 9th, and the mission is gone...

You are long enough part of the game to have known when missions and events end.

The mission did end on the 9th. It didn't end yesterday but today. If you like it or not. The description was not false or misleading.

Not a single mission or event ever in WoWs history ended at midnight.

I'm just saying it can't be too hard to have the mission say it ends on Dec 8th.

To me it is the other way around when it comes to the Italian Cruiser tasks we just had. When the next level is available in x number of days, but then its not because after "1 day left" there are still the "hours left". That does not seem to be the same logic applied.

I also missed it. I had about 4k base exp left. I'll get it when I wake up, it'll be only a couple of games. Oh it's gone and there goes the last 4 containers.... I'll be honest I was doing the whole thing for the very slim remote chance of getting Scharnhorst... Would have been nicer to have failed and got a booby prize than nothing at all though.
