Regarding the Enterprise

I know she's going to be gone for a while. If not for ever. But I really liked the design of Enterprise. But never got around to buying her. Cause she's a CV and when do you play cvs as a cruiser main , pretty much never. I wish I got her when I bought Kaga by accident.

 

But unless she gets balanced. Will we get Yorktown as premium instead with more balanced stats? For those who wanted the Enterprise. But couldn't buy her. But still would like a Yorktown design ship?

 

They can use the base model of Enterprise and add which ever planes Yorktown used. And if they are the same as Enterprise balance them out. And release it.

 

Yes I know that means USA will have 3 Premium cvs. And yes I know, it's just a sister ship / duplicate. But it's not like those aren't abundant on the shop. Murmansk - Marblehead - Marblehead Lima, Boise - Nuevo De Julio, Aurora - Diana - Diana Lima - Oleg, Huanghe - Perth +/- Exeter as simular design.

Irian turned out great  but they can't mess with the range of a cv, only it's speed, hp and the movement of the planes and their weapons.

Which may or may not still happen what with the rework being a gigantic failure and all.

Ever made life choices you don't quite agree with after all? 

That basically happend. I only got her to to put Yukikaze on a cv and to see alternative camo of it. And then decided nope ill go free xp to shokaku. Because kaga essentially is just a floating brick. that screams I'M A TARGET PLEASE HIT ME. Seriously though, Kaga is huge.

Well, it doesnt have to be Yorktown, there still is Hornet ;) 

I would love this also. I want some proper US premium carrier (to farm credits, always broke). Not some puny escort carrier or oversized barn (I am trying to like Kaga, but her anti DD capabilities are questionable at best and to be honest, you are best to torp everything, even DDs, which becomes boring very fast). It is not like they are not strong, they are just not fun. I like Lexi and Shokaku better than mentioned premiums. They unfortunatelly dont earn enough money to justify time invested

Now I HAD Hakuryu but me not fully understanding how the reset bonus worked caused me to reset it and GK and get jack all research points for GK it as it was my second  line I had reset. Research Bureau, such fun.

Enterprise is just another example of an epic WG  up. There's no point in mincing words. It's very unfortunate. 

I don't think anyone knows if/when she'll come back, but never say never. 

 

As @El2aZeR said, Yorktown is supposed to be the silver T8 for the alternate line. Personally I agree with this decision, I don't want Yorktown as a prem because she's leader of the class. I think Hornet would be a better choice.

Same could be said why booooooooogue and the rest of enty's sisters arent in town yet (well booogue got kicked out but sitll).

If yorkie is gonna be in the game either silver ship or premium with marathon (cus im a cheaparse lol).

 

would be nice to have zuiho and taiho back in the game too.

I half agree it can be slightly op. But then it's price tag would be aboves GZ's. And GZ gives not worth your money back for playing her as any casual person. GZB would be a quarter worth it if you don't have GZ? It's ten bucks cheaper and available till Dec6. Pricing it the same as a tier 7 ship that isn't a DD. 

 

So either if we get Yorktown or Hornet. It will be okay but just as expensive as GZ. Or we get Enterprise back with balanced stats. Which ultimately would be nice.

 

But little kids of the forums would throw fire at wg for doing that. As their "skill kill" CV got nerfed and is now a GZ 2.0. But getting Yorktown in game as premium wouldn't be bad either. 

 

(Why premium, Because less rust and lest worn looking camouflage) Also imagine the income wargaming.

Well, there is no reason to reserve most iconic US carriers (Yorktown and Essex class) for ship line which may come out the day Star Citizen 1.0 gets released (..like...never)

Nono, its not. Its part of the plan. Enterprise will be in the Xmas boxes, just like all the other "accidents" that were a "little bit too strong".

I feel much better already. Even though I think Xmas crates have higher drop rates for *ships maybe? I won't go down that rabbit hole. No sir I'll just buy Alaska B, Scharnhorst B and maybe Atago B next week. Still debating since she is a tier 8 means t10 matchmaking is a thing. Meaning he spam is a thing. Also her range is short and I wouldn't be surprised if smolenks would easily be able to out range her. B ships will be my last investment this year unless we get space camos to appear again for Germans. Or the new German ships

The lesser money you have to spend the better the game is. Yes it's not great for the developers. And yes you might suffer from "why didn't I buy that event ship even though its not as good as its sister ship that's already in the game" Montpelier . But your wallet will be the most exited of you keep your money with you.
