@Tuccy Someone asks: If someone plays on Asia server (due to living in Asian Country) and wants to transfer to NA server to play with friends will he/she has lag issue or anything that will interfere with his/her aim or frames/seconds?

this will depend on the internet connection of 'someone'...

 

I guess the best way to check: Make a new (test) account on the NA server and play a few matches, then 'someone' should see if there are any issues...

Hello! I have the Russian account with the same name as here with lots of stuff on it. I would really love to switch from RU to EU region. Is there any plans or leads that one day it would be possible? I know that there is a language and cultural barrier between these realms and this offer would not be as popular for RU players as it might be there, but still I could have used that opportunity. Thank you in advance.

I'm pretty happy to see accounts transfers now available. There are so many accounts that have been created by accident on the wrong server and people have been asking for years if they could get transfer to their correct region. IMO this is a nice step in the right direction. I do wish this wasn't just being offered for a "limited time", IMO this should just be a standard service that WG offers for all of their products.

Kind of sad there will be no option to merge accounts, I stared out on the NA server cause I was playing WOT there with friends and also got in the CBT there, these days I play more so on the EU server so I really have 2 seperate accounts I would love to turn into one, would not even desire compensation for double ships, just like to have it all in 1 place.

That's weird, I use Bullguard Premium and have been for about five years and I have WGC set to automatically open on start up. I did have to grant it separate firewall access to other WG programs but it has never had any problem with it. Check your permissions though I expect you already done that. Yee Haa

On the article it states the transfers begin on 2nd of December and end on 10th of December, thats an 8 day period, will i know what day or time i can expect my specific account to transfer?

Wondering this too, wish there was a least a confirmation email when my friends and I entered. Probably nothing but the lack of communication even if its just with a email bot is spooky.

Can someone at WG tell us what is going on with the Transfers....  According to WG-NA anyone that requested to be transferred to EU prior to the 27th was already sent across and should be transferred.

I'm trying to transfer from NA to EU, applied on the 18th of November and no email or notification has been received as of yet. I know Fem isn't in charge and I have a strong suspicion the section in charge of transfers is telling her everything is working as intended and ahead of schedule, when it obviously isn't.

 

The best we can do is be patient, and expect a delay.

Migrating the server won't fix that "issue". Your account still says you are in Belgium, and thus you can't buy those boxes.

I've already opened a support ticket with their support but they have no idea about what's going on either. I suspect they either have technical issues with transfers or they didn't expect that many players wanting to transfer from or to NA.

It seems like we have a serious case of 'the left hand don't know what the right hand is doing' here right now!!!

 

As its said in the UK "WG you need to pull your thumb out your arse and get something done" coz on the NA forums we are being told that people who applied before the 27th Nov they should have been transferred etc etc - YET, the little or NO info that comes across from anyone at WG smells like the proverbial BS you would hear from a politician during an election campaign.

 

 It's time to get your (insert expletive here) in order and start telling us what is going on with transfers etc.

 

Last thing I want is to keep playing on NA to find out that the screenshots or what ever copy was done from them, sent to you in the EU and then its basically like having a account rollback, as I have had to play an extra week over there once I get to log in here coz you didnt do YOUR job when things were sent.

 

It's time you actually stopped playing deaf and actually started communicating with the  community about this issue, as there is many people all in the same situation

My real issue with the whole thing is almost nothing was explained well, except "click this button and we'll handle it." If they had said,  "upon requesting a transfer, you will receive a confirmation email, followed by and in-game message/email stating the transfer had begun, and lastly a completion message with directions how to access your new servers account.", I may have been a bit more inspired, as of now, NA server wise nothing is getting done until Monday @0900 CST(1500 GMT).

Hi,

Can't login to NA server after server migration from the EU. I had 2 accounts containing the same email adresses (NA & EU) and no temporary login adress and or password was presented.
The accountname i want to login with on NA is Milan1974, that's the one that migrated. The other one allready on NA is MilanMessina and needs to be deleted. I'm unable to make a ticket on NA or EU. It keeps telling me that account email address and contact email address cannot be the same. Weird because i only own 1 email address!

On WGC wich i recently managed to install again, i have the NA instance installed but it refuses to let me log in. any ideas?

Many people having the same issue that have gone from NA to EU

Just got email saying the transfer is complete with no other info on what to do now. I for instance have another account with same email on EU.

 

Just not getting any info from WG at all on this whole process, have even been hearing that the copies sent over are missing ships and even been rolled back by effectively 3 or 4 days

i got the exact same mail but i already have an email situated with the destination server and i didnt recieve my throw away email and pass word for my now transferred account.

That's a problem that I don't have. Didn't have a NA account prior to the transfer. I had 2 EU accounts and now I have 1 EU and 1 NA account.
