I got Jingles, but he doesn't talk! all the sound on my game are on... any ideas?

its ok with no special skills - but they still have 'special streak" on their commander icon, thats wrong.. i only unlocked these commanders since they have a special streak like other super commanders .. thinking i would not miss out on anything with special commanders .. i dont care about jingles or the other guy.. but i care about special commanders and special skills .. this is wrong, sorry

You're right, it isn't consistent with other commanders such as HSF/ Dasha who also have bespoke voice lines. I've forwarded your concerns, keep an eye out in the patch notes.

He even calls out the sinking of an ally ship when you sink an ennemy one. (and I tried in training rooms to teamkill a t1 bot and he said I sunk an ennemy cruiser!  don't try this at home ! I did it for scence !)

One question though.... if one were to mod that mod... to 'jingle' the files so that we can here him announcing "You sunk an enemy carrier" when blasting away a DD.... would that be considered an 'illegal' mod?

The qotes are random so he sometimes says to sink an allied CV when you sink an ennemy DD.

Jingles is working as expected, just got an in-battle message from him............................."Submarine spotted"

Is this a bug?

When you put the cursor on an ally and press F3 (provide cover for that target), Jingles sometimes says "Wilco!" and sometimes "It's a go!"". Should he not say that when you press F4 (Wilco)?

 

By the way, you can choose Jingles in Settings -> Audio -> Voiceover modification. Then every commander speaks like him.

WG, you are pathetic. No special skill and only 3 points??? 

 

So many bad decisions you've made with this game... Carriers are not fun to play with or against, you are constantly spotted because of the carriers so you cannot play strategically and the battles finish usually way too fast. Plus the game is not well optimised for older, slower computers as WoT is. I have constant lags and freezes. On the other hand, I can play WoT very well and I still enjoy it, although it is not perfect. And playing WoT I usually have the satisfaction of destroying all the enemy tanks, not like in wows where there may still be 7 or more ships alive and the battle ends. 

 

I have stopped playing this game for several weeks now. I don't even care anymore if it dies or not.

As much as I don't want to join in the whining chorus, a no-name commander I got with my Exeter was at SIX skill points and Jingles is at THREE? Something's gone horribly wrong here.

Call me seriously thick, but I can't figure out how to earn Jingles. Where is the assignment tracked? What are the requirements other than earning 10k base XP, I've now earned 26k.

[Edit] Ah, of course, 16 battles left before I can do Combat Missions.

At the moment, unfortunately, there is not a way to obtain Captian Jingles, and currently, we don't know if the situation will change in the future 😊.
