I think one of each can be redeemed, not sure how long to get them though.

In-game under your Personal Assignments you can find the expiration date - 31st January 2020 (the exact time will be 05:00 UTC). 

 

I'll add it to the article in a second. 

 

Plenty of time to get 10k base XP.

Akizuki's can opener (scnr) as Cmdr., finally. Well deserved for him and I still enjoy his vids. ....and too bad for anyone else - he got me hooked to WoWs, so now you've got me here XD

Although I was surprised for a second of 'only' 3 points - what the heck. 10k xp, pfft, for free ... all fine /w me! : )

At a (very short) glance ... seems to me that nope*.

And that's the only thing I'm a wee tad disappointed about.

One question though.... if one were to mod that mod... to 'jingle' the files so that we can here him announcing "You sunk an enemy carrier" when blasting away a DD.... would that be considered an 'illegal' mod?

Jingles did say that he insisted that he  should occasionally misidentify ship classes.  WG were reluctant but he says they eventually agreed.  they also wouldn't countencanse "Surprise buttsecks!"

 

 Only one way to find out!

 

My issue is that Iuse a number of Dasha Perova commanders, especially on my RN ships, so I have a third party voice mod in play which is in English.

 

With any luck we'll get an Aslain pack mod which can make every commander Jingles!

asking as I’m a new player returning after signing up during the Beta. My highest tier ship is Tier 3 (and an T4 Arkansas Beta)

I can play The Filth missions in Tier 9 ships.

He successfully managed to misidentify some ships while at the helm of my Edinburgh, so..., it's a proper Jingles ^^

First well done WG for doing something like this, but...... there is always a but....3 skill points and a regular tech line captain after a year or more of competitions, promotion and hype train...you let us down a gain WG. I don't think Jingles should have been OP in anyway but he should I think have been on a par with The Dunkirk Brothers, either the same skills or a couple of minor buffs just to put the cherry on top of a very long and epic drawn out hype train surrounding the whole event. Maybe 2 minor buff's centered around new British Heavy cruiser release as russian, Italian and French have all received new unique captains. A Xmas gift maybe, the options were many and varied. To release these 2 captains as you have is an anti climax...I have 10 skill captains and above, plenty of them...Jingles and the other fella are probably for me and most just gonna sit there at T3 maybe never being levelled up. And that is a bit of a shame. Fireworks for a dev strike, anything really just to mark them out as one up from Captain Bogstandard, didn't even have to be a skill based buff.

 

I'm happy jingles made it into the game and the other fella I guess, they are just missing that extra something. 7 out of 10, for effort WG, so close, you were so close.

 

Jingles has been released like an old mans xmas present, Hinted at, nicely packaged and wrapped but when opened ..its just socks, like all the other basic socks in his draw. Jingles and the other fella are just a pair of budget socks.

I don't know what happened.

 

I accepted the mission, checked it was there, sailed out of the mines in my trusty Lightening and Leander, crewed by my saltiest of gnomes and within time received the old sea dog.  Except ....

I went to add him as captain of my Minotaur - after in my hands it's a real hit and miss except ..... I don't remember doing much in the French BB line but now I have a ship named something like Alsachee commanded by Capitaine Maurice Le Frou Frou de Jingles who keeps asking for cheese.

 

What have I done wrong ?

Nice I was out when i activated it so had no access to the game to check - missions completed now and very pleased.

Can confirm correct Miss-Id of ships - played a battle with him as Cmdr these are some of the lines said in that battle:

Enemy Cruiser spotted "Enemy Battleship sighted"

Enemy BB or Cruiser spotted - "Enemy Aircraft Carrier detected" - there was no CV in that game

Citadel an enemy cruiser - "That's a Paddlin"

Sink an enemy cruiser - "We sank an Allied Cruiser"

Sink an enemy BB - "We sank an Allied Battleship"

Your team takes the lead - "We might actually win this"

Winning the game - "We're winning try not to do anything stupid"

 

Best Cmdr in the game - now just got to get the skill points up.

As my Russian is a little rusty I can only assume that Richard's voice lines are oscar worthy. 

 

But in all seriousness, both have no unique skills found on other commanders such as Bert Dunkirk or Reinhard von Jutland.

 

Instead hey just have unique voice commands and dashing portraits.
