I have a feeling that the Wyoming is going to be insanely awesome at T4. Poor Myogi, it's going to get wrecked hard.

Yeah, more or less. It even has AA. Myogi only appears to have speed and a marginal range advantage on it's side.

Any info about maximum ranges, reload times or dispersion?

some images have those values

For example:

New mexico (tier 6) will have 13,6 km range without FCS update --> less range than Warspite but with better accuracy (215m of gun dispersion)

Iowa's guns has 274m of gun dispersion and a ROF of  2 rpm

New Mexico doesn't have better accuracy than Warspite though. It has that dispersion at 13.6km, while Warspite has 226m dispersion at 16.3km. At New Mexico's range Warspite has much less dispersion.

However, dispersion appears a little wobbly at the moment, because Fuso should have better dispersion at 16.3km than Warspite but it doesn't look like it. So for the time being, I am personally, treating dispersion as a sort of maximum dispersion while the average dispersion can be much less (Warspite) or closer to it (Fuso).

But the USN BBs have a massive HE shell. Warspite has a good one, but it can't compare to the American.

the HE shell damage and chance of fire will be doubled in next patch, so it's still equivalent...

le-wut? That means Warspite would do 12k damage with HE but only 11k with AP. Unless AP gets a bump too that is.

Twice chance of fire. not twice the damage.

because the armour in next patch will be buffed, so it's a trade off

they buffed HE damage to compensate it.

You can see that the 16 inches guns have 10k dmg HE now.. So 15 inches guns have about 8-9k dmg

So a rough 1.5x bump them? Should make them better suited to module killing with the armour systems specifically but one wonders how the armour itself will cope with the increased damage.

Anyone got an idea when 3.1 patch hits, going to save up my free xp to try go for tier 5 US BB from the get go rather than get a tier 7 US DD or CA right now. Still I wonder how those gun ranges will work out in plat compared to IJN BBs. Will this force all BBs closer once not everyone is playing US BBs or will US BBs and IJN BBs just fight away from each other.

Also be interesting to see how that massive AA works out in higher tiers.

Nope they are not. No one cares unless it is a US ship.

How do the ranges compare to the other nations?

Currently it seems that Japanese battleships will in general be faster, have better firepower and a bit more range, while sacrificing survivability and accuracy while the US will probably sacrifice speed and range (at the start) for more thicker armor. Later tiers I guess they kind of go for a similar approach to the Japanese. Judging on the Warspite I'd imagine the Royal Navy being sort of middle of the road, with decent speed, good armor, good firepower and good range.

Though I'm worried how the old 21 knot standards (New Mexico, Colorado) will measure up against the faster and longer-range Japanese boats.
