I do people know something that I don't?

I played a game in my Bismarck and then my Tirpitz and in both games I managed to get citadeled from the front at while angled at close range.

Richelieu did it while I was in the Tirpitz and Missouri did it to my Bismarck...

Is there a specific weak spot on them I should know about?

If my memory serves me right, theres a small window for that to happen.

There is a gap under turret A or B between the bow on autobounce angles and the turtleback.

It's a feature of the Turtleback style of armor, it leaves the ship with relatively weak ends.

Basically Tirpitz and Bismarck are well know for going out on the flanks, so there for you set fire to them at close range for some XP and then " Blap " them in the A$$ with AP as you pass.

thanks for explaining it to me,

I'm guessing there's a little flat spot on the bow and stern that can be punched clean through into the citadel?

I didn't think it would be a problem but it's all rather clear now.

Same thing happened to me in the Conqueror as well, thought it was safe and angled and I got smashed... not sunk but took a lot of damage
