Hey guys

After a lot of thought and consideration I have decided to throw in the towell. 
I really do not enjoy the game anymore and realised the only thing keeping
me around was a case of sunk-cost fallacy.  So I'll be deleting my account 
since I feel something definitive works best for me. As for the money I spent on

ships and such, well no use crying over spilt milk I suppose.

Well...It was fun while it lasted.

I dont see how, WG is not going to change it's way. I'm just waiting for SMS confirmation now and then it's done.

I quit almost a year ago, just got a bit bored.  Now I'm back and enjoying it again.  There is literally no logical reason to delete all the spent money like that.

I stopped playing monopoly with the family a few years ago and also ebayed the box, I sent them all a letter to let them know I was quitting due to Waddingtons not giving me enough money at the start of the game and also placing the streets in the wrong places on the board so that they avoided having me land on them due to RNG dice throwing.

I love how you removed the thumbs up you gave me earlier because I hit you with the truth. 

But I can understand. One can get quite desperate in trying to move WG to make a change. Typing in that SMS code however while knowing how much will be lost is like really hard especially for a game you secretly like but can't let us know since you want to quit so badly.

@Snautzi I would also advice against deleting your account. Deleting will not give you any benefits over just not playing the game and leaving your account 'mothballed' as it were.

 

PS I was away from the game for like a year, myself. Got back, now playing in what I hope is a more relaxed fashion.
