Just wondering if anyone else is having ping problems?

Usually I get 33-35 but tonight 300-1220 ping...

ISP fine, rebooted the game and system twice and still the same...

Two players last game also complaining about ping...

I have just had a couple of battles since 17:30 today (Sunday 27th October 2019 Anno Domini) where the ping ratios has been jumping about like crazy, one minute it is at 300 and the next minute it is at 1800 and the ship keeps stuttering, can not identify targets at time and they are not where they are supposed to be when you shoot at them

Is anyone else getting this

I don't know about pings (I can't see them in Halo ops), but I'm experience the same issues, the screens goes very dark in Sunray in the darkness, , ships stuttering, a huge amount of delay when I want to fire, etc.

Not good when I'm gridding elite XP

Yup, ping is all over the place. In the UK. Anybody else?

Same. Last match ping was constantly on the 300-3000ms range. Luckily I had picked a BB, so I managed somewhat.

Had several games today, around half of them have been completely unplayable. Ping ranging from mid 200 up to 1200. Asked in chat who else is having issues, and aside from the usual, "get better internet" replies, a few players have said they are having the same issues.

Guys,

some of our clan members having the same problem.

It looks like anyone who has ping problems are located far west of europe..

Mostly UK.. some portugal..

I suspect the problem is in between the servers and users.. not on any end..

can someone having a problem run a ping plotter and share the result screen?

Had some very strange spikes in Ping, despite no background tatsks running. Only happens in WoWs as well. It happens rarely, but it happens.

Hey would this explain fps issues as well?

For some reason no matter the settings although its still playable the game seems a bit jittery, this only started happening friday/saturday after i closed it down.

Killing floor 2 on usual settings was fine, so was cossacks 3 and UA:D.

Looking at ping plotter, the likely suspect for me is 31.55.185.177 which appears to be a BT box in London but I can't seem to ping it. In other words, this is not a WG problem which means there is very little we can do from here. Best bet is probably to contact your ISP.

Packet loss and high ping can cause stutter on your screen or scene hopping but that is not an FPS or I should say graphics issue. Packet loss can affect your viewing pleasure due to the lack of processing information to your system due to the missing packets of data needed from online gaming. If you want to confirm that you have FPS issues go into a training room offline, if you still have the problem then it is a graphics-related issue.

Hmm, im hoping it's just that since its fairly recent and my usual settings range from high to low.

We're also seeing some clan members have very spikey ping, some intermittent, some more consistent and severe.

Well you can see the problem for me here, my connection to the WoWS server is going through a crap node or something. If you look at the graph you can clearly see the problem which explains the high ping spikes I am getting on WoWS. Remember to hide your private details if you upload a screenie.

Spoiler

That node belongs to BT, so time for me to call them up and let them know. Maybe it'll be a quick fix.
