what is happening to this game lately?

trying to get bayern into battle, but it shows genova with bayern's consumables, trying to logout, nothing works.

Latest patch broke a few things.

 

Try reinstall game. Worked for me and many other people.

Step 1 - check your mods

 

If it doesnt fix the issue...

 

Step 2 - run check and repair in the WGC

 

If even that doesnt work

 

Step 3 - uninstall game and delete all folders then reinstall it

Happened to me too. Looked like this:

and I could actually go into battle like this, but it would be the Charles martel (with halloween camo) and not the event ship taken into random battles.

 

I don't remember how I fixed it. I had this with multiple ships but I ended up exiting the client and entering it again and I haven't gotten this oddness back since.

 

It was not because of mods. I pretty much know for sure as I haven't installed any.

What happens if you enter the battle?

It's a new bug. Logging out and back in won't fix it, you have to completely restart the client. At least that worked for me.

u can't enter the battle, u just sit there in port, looking at other ships while it display genova

yup, they closed the ticket, sent me a link to a hotfix, smome [edited] related to microsoft where its not working either

my steps would be: check game integrity on loadup and if it not fixes it, unsinstall including deletion of all related folders (like if there's some in appdata f.e.) and do a fresh install.

... hope for a hotfix that actual works.......

........ or simply don't play the bayern until they got it fixed if the game runs fine otherwise.
