IFHE Change?

Is that change to IFHE / Fire chance values still in the pipeline and if so does anyone know when it's coming?

Since Smolensk, Colbert and Bayard all followed the rules for armor and penetration of the IFHE rework it seemed as such.

 

But the new italian and british CAs do not appear to follow the rules, so who knows. We may have to wait for an update or Q&A opportunity from WG.

Thanks, just to confirm the change proposed was that if you took IFHE you halved your fire chance or have I got that wrong?

The change to IFHE specifically was a reduction in the penetration bonus from +30% to +20% and changing the penalty to halved fire chance. This change was accompanied by a number of armor changes.

Kitakaze was executed in cold blood with this change, whole IJN gunboat line is now irrelevant and unfun to play. Smallest guns, no fire chance, worst control. A whole historic ship line D E A D. Game slowly drives me away.

Kitakaze is probably in the top 3 reasons, if not the #1 reason, for why IFHE is being changed. It is simply far too strong right now so I wouldn't expect to see any sort of buffs to compensate for the IFHE change either.
