Ok, got it now.

The correct way is Da Giussano, as 'da' indicates origin (I am from Giussano). 'Di' indicates belonging to (I am a man OF my house).

For some reason the ship had the name with a mistake, I suppose because they were a bit relaxed in terms of grammar?

Yes, I think I do.

 

First directive = Tier V

...

Fourth directive = Tier VIII

 

But I wouldn't mind if the last directive gave all four ships either.

I wouldn't even mind if they were tied to the hall of fame. At least then you would know that only a grind will supply you with the ship, and those grinding the most get the most rewards.

Goodmorning everyone,

I apologize in advance if I will discuss a topic that is probably already under discussion.
I believe that Italian ships, as they were released into the game, are destined not to be played, given their obvious deficiencies.

First, the long refill of the cannons;
absence of the hydrophonic search device;
absence of HE bullets.

For the high speed and maneuverability of the Italian cruisers, added to their scarce armor, the only solution would be the combat maneuvered with the possibility of fire.

I believe the only way is to equip these cruisers with HE bullets, otherwise it is useless to play them.

The ships were briefly tested on PTS around 2 month ago. At that time SAP were very good . I remember I gave 20K damge in a single salvo to a tier IV CV (langley) with my tier V Montecuccoli. 

then WG decided to nerf them without following a proper second test. and today the line was released. 

Marketign reason I guess. They must already have some premium ready for release hidden somewhere. Like the Genova. Unfortunately  (for WG marketing division) the players are becoming smarter and before buying they watch some video on u tube.

At that point only a very motivated minority would buy it. 

WG: The Yahagy fiasco didn't teach you anything right?

SAP...Shittier armor piercing shells. Only seems to be useful against dd's.

Getting in a 1v1 against a normal cruiser you will die, because he burns you down. Unless they do something stupid.

Smoke is mostly useless. It helps the enemy because it obscures your view, but they still benefit from your huge smoke fire penalty.

No utilities other cruiser do get like hydro/radar/heals

Torpedoes which are only useful when giving broadside to the enemy ship at 2km range due to speed. And if they hit, its mostly an inconvenience because of their low damage.

 

In one word: disappointing.

Current playing tier 6 , witch i find somewhat  fun to play. Altho you need really broadsiding cruisers to get any high dammage games . The lack of fire dammage makes it impossible to deal with Battleships if your team dies. Concealment is just terrible, but it can work as top tier. Looking at the small changes on tier 7 and 8 , its pretty much same ships and i assume this is going to be terrible at higher tiers. Also the total lack of consumables, even at tier 10 is redicolous, bad concealment bad fire rate, no fire dammage, very little to counter bbs altho long range torps and smoke can do some, i think just some better reload and a hydro do it good, so you atleast can do something really good like suppricing dds. Totally mediocre line and doubt i will play this ship after the grind.. Genova must be a joke from WG, must be laughing hard in that office dumping a crap like this in to the game, maybe the purpose is for other to have fun wrecking it...

Found myself in a T10 match..... again, because MM sucks, and faced off against a Des Moines. Yeah! 5 sec HE spammer vs my 14 sec ShitAP turd.

Well... back to WOW only for Italian line and... a bit disappointed.

Only Venezia and Zara are good, but watching OTHER PEOPLE.  'cause after 4 prem container and 15 standard (directives plus tokens) got ANY ship.

 

So... bye!

I deinstall the game and thanks for all the fish.

Whilst I do suffer from event fatigue like many others, I do think that the missions are a huge improvement over past events.

 

What bothered me the most in the past regarding missions is that many tasks were tied to a specific class or a specific nation, forcing me to play ships I don t necessarily wanna play (or even worse: a game mode I don t like)....

 

This time around, the missions are designed in a way that you can complete them in whatever ship you feel like playing. Ofc some missions are more tailored to one class or another but the important part is that you re still free to chose and this is a huge improvement to me.

That freedom of choice is a game changer and makes it all feel far less of a chore as the feeling "omg I can t play what I wanna play now coz I still gotta complete nation x or whatever ship class mission".

 

Sadly the rewards - especially the lucky draw- flaw the campaign. I m clearly not willing to spend tokens for yet another lottery ticket "lootbox style" and therefore it will be borderline impossible to get a mission for an Italian ship. Clearly, I won t buy any of the proper loot boxes for money either and given that game companies show no restraint whatsoever exploiting loot box gambling, I m delighted to see that lawmakers across Europe have a closer look at this and hopefully put an end to it.

reload is way to slow for the range. gun traverse is no better than a BB. Ship really is poor.

Unpleasant surprise to notice the final directive requires 8 missions completed instead of 6. And the missions themselves are also way more grindy (100.000 XP (with modifiers), 3M damage, 10k XP with Genova) compared to previous stages... 

 

Then again, it comes from WG's sleeve, so I'm not surprised. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Just reached the 'Hall of fame' and I've noticed that for the first time the only prizes are a few flags, even for the best of the best.

 

Needless to say, I won't be even trying to get any points.

 

So far you'd be always rewarded with some containers (Italian ones in this case was expected) but this time nothing at all.

 

I wonder if it's another thing they missed or intentionally reducing the rewards and seeing how many players will still grind for a couple of flags.
