Akizuki is the first ship you can actually call ''powerful'' in this branch. The Hatsuharu and shiratsuyu despite they are in the gun boat branch but their guns are unreliable and they  can not train you how to play gun boat before you reach the Akizuki.

Sorry my dyslexia again change my words , I ment that Shimakaze line with all ships in it should be torpedo concerned , with weaker guns for self defence , if they had strong guns what would be point of Harugumo ? , and line that lead to Harugumo (I have both unlocked , check my account) , is strong enough and need no buff.

I have Minotaur and Smolensk those are great ships , you can have a lot of fun I got on about 120-150k dmg per battle  on avrage , but if you are careless you will die in first 5 min , those are light class ships with little armour , they dont need nerf  , they work well are ballanced , I know for a fact that only people who dont own one dislike them , I own also Worcester I suck at that ship , dont like it , but I dont whant it nerf or buff , I just dont play it , Belfast , Atlanta & Flint I dont own them , I died from them few times  , but mostly they are my prey , those are light ships with low armour , on shoot kill , so sure they have high fire power , so they have chance in game .

Now about buffs and Nerf: what happens to Russian DDs? They are now useless. Are they excellent gunboat? With that reload time and turret traverse time (especially the premiums)? Comparing them with the new Japanese, GB, Germans and so on? No definitely not. Oh maybe... torpedo boats? Ah ah ah ah... 4km or little more? No absolutely not. Oh yes they are spotting boat!!! Humm... 6.7km? Or 10Km? No... they are not. But then what are they? What do they excel at? What is their peculiarity? The JAPs we know, the GB also, the French the same, the Germans oh yes! Russian?  They have become anonymous! Please help me to understand?

 

P.S.: hope in a WG staff answer

I am agree with you. They are powerful but have a handicap already: limited access to damage control, and become inflamed as gasoline. Oh short guns range comparing all others and a very "hospitable" citadel. Was not this enought?

Well, i never asked for buffs for the Shimakaze line ?? I asked buff for Hatsuharu and Shiratsuyu ONLY ! Because they are in the same branch as Akizuki so they should be gun focused destroyer and become   a gun boat to train the captain for Akizuki-class.

No, it wasn't. And actually, I was ironic. Since I don't own them yet, I don't regret the nerfs, although I might later when I get to those ships. For now, not being consistently citadelled with every salvo when kiting away in a cruiser by a Vladivostok is cause to celebrate.

I appreciate the fact that WG is listening and adjusting the ships.

LOL! Anyway is true that are powerfull, little nerf needed but... for a real balancing I think that with the nerf must be removed the limited access to damage control, because believe me they are really flammable (all RU BB).

I can agree with that. I'm at Izmail myself and I hate being set on fire 2x per salvo by Fusos and Oktobrya Revoluskias spamming HE.

8v8 clan battles?  Why, FFS WG, why?

 

You just killed it for almost every small clan out there.  I get that 6v6 may have felt too small @ T10, but 8v8 is too much.  We struggled getting enough active players together to do the last 6v6 season.

Agree too. We have active players, but.. CB has restriction time and days, is difficult that 8 players will be free to play exactly at that time and day. we found difficulty when 7 vs 7, Imagine 8 vs 8

I think 2 first coal ships , to go will be Salem (she can earn a loot of credits!!!)  & Jean Bart (there are lately many of them ) , those ships was added first , then Georgia-Yoshino-Smolensk-Thunderer , I got Salem in christmas , I planed to get Jean Bart in summer, but they introduce Yoshino , so I take it insted , in September I got Smolensk  , and now I plan get Thunderer in Christmas , because T10 have more value in game , you get SC & and more stuff ,  I would like to have Jean Bart and Georgia to my collection , but I have Musashi , so I have credits earing ship , I think WG need to give people chance to get them ALL in game , or at start give date when they will be removed like 2-3 years .

The efficiency of  X Kremlin was higher than that of other battleships at Tier X. To balance the ship, and at the same time have minimal impact on the defining features of the battleship, we’ve changed the characteristics of her shells. Along with the above changes, we’ve slightly changed the armor penetration and ballistics.

 

 

this is meaningless. a complete disappointment for those who have this ship.

I don't really care about the max damage from AP and HE but "some other related parameters" sounds really fishy!

Are these updates getting bigger and bigger? Is there any optimization guy in the office?

 

It feels like every month or so I'm installing a new game... 

 

I don't remember having a 6GB+ update on any game, ever. Even much more graphically intense, with more additional content like cut-scenes etc.

 

P.S. It's been advertised that you should download it in advance but I never saw the option. It said in the WGC but I just don't see it.

 

There is a message about the update and 'learn more' which brings you to the same article posted on this thread, nothing about the update process.

So, there is no Italian tech tree? We have to play 40+ battles to get the Italian cruisers of the 0.8.9 update?

If that's true, then it's a bummer. We've been waiting for an Italian tech tree for over a year.

Hi, I hope you read this.  I don't like the way the battles in WOWS are developing.  Everybody sails wherever he wants, destroyers abandon their fleets and go somewhere else, the whole fleet leaves leaving the one honest fighter to be destroyed or the enemy simply runs away and you can chase him in wain for 20 minutes.  You should divide the map in sectors and each ship should fight in his own sector.  The last man standing wins the sector.  Shooting on someone in another sector should not be aloved as well as leaving his own sector as long there are enemy ships there.  Only when the last enemy in sector is down the player should be aloved to go in another sector and shoot at ships there.  Running away from enemy should be penalized as well, if you run away you got only 50% of points.  That would make battles more honest, interesting and faster, best Tomislav

Destroyers move out fast and spot in front of their fleet. This is especially important in games without carriers.
