Finally a nerf to the tier II French DD. This is what gameplay needed badly  

 

Khabarowsk ? Z-52 ? Yueyang ? 

WG ever heard of those ships ? Probably not, too busy with playing Smolensk

I've got to say, that I am pleased that at least this part of WG taking care of WoWS listens to the community. Albeit there are still some other ships to be updated (yes, I am looking at you, Smolensk...), I am still happy playing this game.

Speaking about Smolensk.... do they ever announce when new coal ships are being added or removed from the Armory?

 

Or you find out once they do it, in silence?

Seeing the reload buff to Blys. makes me wonder what is the chance for Hatsuharu and Shiratsuyu  to get reload buffs aswell ? And maybe just make them a gun boat instead of torpedo boat if it going to be in the same branch as Akizuki-class.

Besides i found these two to be the weakest torpedo boats comparing to Fubuki and Akatsuki, i would not mind for torp nerf (if really needed) in exchange for better main gun reload for Hatsuharu and Shiratsuyu.

 

Anyway Type 21 camo is interesting, i hope this camo is permanent and available for all Japanese ships especially above tier 5...

I was really hoping for some information on additional base expansions. We have just over 200,000 Oil just sitting there with literally nothing to spend it on, and I know a number of other clans in the same position.

Italian cruisers: i'll wait and see.

Italian cruisers event tokens: curious if WG continues the trend of the last events... in light of 'loot box-drama', and (imo) rather unattractive rewards. -> i'll wait and see.

 

Halloween: did it last year as freshly peeled baby seal, got clubbed hard, had to learn fast. This year hard mode... rinse and repeat XD

 

Detectability System: YES! Thank you : ) Sounds great, looking forward to it. : )

 

Buffing Błyskawica: Sure, why not, already liked her the way she was, but thx. Buff's welcome.

Nerfing Vladivostok: Nooooooooo.... damn. *sigh* That was so much fun seeing them cruisers go 'blarp' so reliably. ;->

Nerfing Hōshō: Feeling torn between cheeky gloating and modest restraint.... as CVs are the only ship class i don't play... - only against ;-) --> i'll wait and see.

Other nerfs/buffs: don't have those ships (yet) -> no qualified opinion.

 

Audio "improvements": HEAR, HEAR !   (pun intended  ;-> ) ... sincerely hoping that i can write >audio "improvement"< without huge quotation marks this time. Slightly optimistic... can't fubar it every time, can they? XD

 

"Other improvements and fixes": ... thx for fixing bugs! - HUGE thx to everyone reporting bugs! (Community outsourcing ftw, yay. Not even meant ironic, this time ;.-> ).

 

And my 1¹/₂ most annoying topics re. updates:

- [1/2 one, because i just alt-tab out and kill the proc tree for the time being: client shut down - the procmon log of the client shut down alone is > 50MB .txt. I won't go into details, that's how much I actually like you, WoWs );-> ]

- Expect me praising and rejoicing if the frame rate goes up again. Expect a sympathetic nod if the frame rate remains at least more/less stable. And expect a barrel of bilious sarcasm should it drop again. Still optimistic though... i'm tenacious there XD

2 BBS and once again. No CVs?

I mean why bother having CVs in the game for players like myself to enjoy playing, working through the constant changes to system to then once again exclude from the competitive scene?

Either accept the rework as is and allow us to play in our preferred ships along side our clan mates or just get it over with and delete CVs from the game, we already get so much verbal/typed abuse both in game and out of game that it's getting extremely tiresome being excluded from certain modes.

Especially when T10 of all the tiers seems to be the most balanced in terms of CVs and AA ships. Throw in that a competitive mode means having AA ships, specialists and working within AA sectors/coverage, utilising smoke effectively etc. seems like the most balanced way to include CVs.

I think Shima like should be torpedo concentrated , and guns are for self defence and setting fire on prey , Harugumo line is powerful enough , they need no buff , Blyskawica needed one 6 sec is welcome buff .

Why again early access ? , that is sabotage ! , so I can win cruiser mission from container let say T7 , so I grind to T10 , and then I want to reset with RB ... so I will get less reserch points ! , and what is the point with not relesing T1-T4 from start ? , that kind of stuff will make me not take part with that even , just take breake from game for some time , and grind one day Italian line from T1 !

I think you are confused. Hatsuharu and Shiratsuyu are not in torpedo boat line which leading to Shimakaze, they are in the ''gun boat line'' which leading to Hargumo.

 

Akizuki is the first ship you can actually call ''powerful'' in this branch. The Hatsuharu and shiratsuyu despite they are in the gun boat branch but their guns are unreliable and they  can not train you how to play gun boat before you reach the Akizuki.

But seriously, I'm excited for the release of the Italian cruisers.

However, besides that, there's really nothing else exciting about the update:

- The event is basically the same as the last five events;

- early access is again handled in the wrong way (see the RN carriers)

- and Halloween is the exact same as last year

 

I'm okay with the spotting system.

Excuse me all over the place...you call Atlanta OP? Try this one for size: 130 shells hit. Set 3 fires. And then blarp. It's not what it used to be. I can concur on the Smolensk. The others are meh at best.
