Agree, i felt that difference after some hundred battles in Daring... but now need a captain for Jutland, because i retrained. Its just collecting dust atm As for skills I have PM, AR, LS, SE, SI, CE and RPF. Imho SI > BFT. But lemmingtrain is also not best option. I really like my Daring (my favourite ship), but yeah she struggles hard when there are multiple radar ships. She can't disengage fast enough (even if you disengage at the max range after trying to bait it), so you can be caught out pretty fast and leaves less room for error compared to faster DDs. She also has that issue of 12,8km guns and 10 km torps, so in CBs especially (where there currently are at least 3 soviet 12km radars per game), you get some very limited options to work off. I still like her and have found some ways to work around it, but it can be very frustrating if you are facing a flank that has good cooperation with radar cycling and where the enemy DDs don't get caught out alone but screen ahead within radar range cover. You don't really have the speed to quickly change positions either, so if you are stuck on a bad flank you are kind of forced to deal with it to a bigger extent than other DDs.
