Smoked HE spammers are a good addition to the game.

And the point is? Haru being OP?

There were things misplayed on their part as well , you don't blindfire  while rushing the smoke and get detected and farmed by a DD .....

Also torps were the factor....

1. red DD dead

2. Two BBs left to fend for themselves.

3.  misplayed by pushing smoked up DD, unsurprisingly the competent DD feeds each a set of fishes and they are finished off by spam + allies

I've seen Shimas kill more misplayed ships in shorter time spans - without HE spam.

Haru effortlessly taking down two nearly full health Tier X BBs in under 3 minutes.

Sligltly over half HP.

And have you seen how surrounded they were?

They were dead meat by misplay.

And we have smoked HE spammers since before release...

What was the misplay?

He only smoked up once they did fire back. That was the whole plan. Should they have not shot back while pushing in? He just would have kept farming them while kiting away. They could never catch him and never shoot their main weapons so the net result would have been even worse - taking those two BBs out of the game, only this way they wouldn't even have inflicted what little damage they got, on him or anybody else.

They had no counterplay.

Fun & engaging.

What are you talking about ... if a BB pushes the smoke it should have no counter play or at leaset be in inferior position.

If they were smart they would push his smoke, proxy spot him and blap him ... but instead they shot and got themselfs detected.

Plus they both failed to one shot him once he got spotted ... as Flamba said ... he should have been dead.

And besides ... working as intended .. rock paper scissors ...

I cant see the vid on work's computer.:Smile_hiding: But i can kinda quess...

Yes, we now have the highest amount of HE spammers ever.  All you need is one dd to be alive and you can farm damage the whole game without being spotted.

Regardless if they are too strong or not as that debate will go on and on and on and on.

The fact is no one wants to be constantly on fire in what ever ship. It puts players Rrrriiiggghhhttt off.  If you lose your friendly DD early, being in a BB can be painful when the enemy can have free raine.

I'm kinda getting annoyed that you are seeing nothing but light cruisers.  Heavy cruisers are being powercrept, badly.

  • Being at the map border in the first place.
  • Pushing a stationary target while visibility was capped at 8km, had they moved on, they would have gotten away or the Haru would have to leave smoke

Nonsense.

They had been supporting the A cap, which is kinda hard from anywhere else.

Every second post in this here forum is complaining about sniping, camping BBs These two pushed and now you call that a misplay.

Make up your mind.

More nonsense.

The visibility limit is a disproportional advantage for BBs, so of course they should use it to push.

They might have gained a slight advantage by starting to kite, but that is more than offset by the risk of turning away from a DD when you all but know for certain there are torps in the water heading your way.

Look again. There are a lot of positions closer to the cap.

If getting away is nonsense compaired to get shot to pieces and not doing much, ok, I rest my case. Feel free to play like that... on the enemy team.
