Reason I ask is I created an alternate account, not a re roll, as I will suck just as bad as I do in this one and not really one I will be taking seriously The account was actually set up for WoT's, (for reasons) but naturally I thought I would give it a go in here too what struck me is your given a hundred doubloons, and that is it. Why wouldnt you get camos and flags? WG is throwing those at us all the time. From daily logins itself I got 500 doubloons so far. You cannot get flags & camos until you have low personal rank. I am one battle away from personal rank 5 I think, and that will unlock free XP. Way ahead of me is camos as that is rank 11 I think. I even do not have captains available yet. On rank 4 you unlock daily containers, and they should drop normal stuff. I have 6 or 7 T10 boats and litterally thousands of flags and hundreds of camo's .... You 'll drown in free stuff if you are semi-capable and watch the events, ranks and missions. The most annoying part of 1005 free to play is retraining captains and not being able to de-mount modules .. some of those cost a LOT of credits .. and without premium, credits will be your bottleneck. And yeah i know you can unlock all silver ships without paying, but no one in the right mind would do that. If you wanna play the game, just for fun sometime's and not take it to serious, then sure playing for free isnt a problem. While I've spent cash on the game, it's been mostly on premium ships that I wanted because they were what they were. I could certainly have managed without them. Premium time... I think I've bought one or two weekends' worth overall, and could easily have managed without. It speeds up your progression and gets you a few more daily containers, but it's not necessary. In all seriousness though, I wish people would actually acknowledge they can’t get a ship to work rather than blaming the ship itself. LordTareq Players 278 posts 1,667 battles Report post #25 Posted October 2, 2019 From tier 8 onwards you will typically not make profit without a premium account, meaning if you go from tier to tier to tier you will eventually get stuck in tier 8. You can remedy this by keeping 1 or more ships in a lower tier to make some money, but earning the 20+ million for a tier 10 ship will take a loooong time without premium.
