Hi all,

 

How many "Premium" ships have you received through "Super Containers" / "Special Containers" ?

 

 

Somehow I got "T-61" from finishing the 2nd Directive from Anniversary event and that got me thinking how many "Premium" ship I actually got over the years (I started with Open BETA 4+ years ago)...

 

Well... I got 5 altogether... not bad at all... I almost forgot...

I'm not counting any event box with a drop chance, like air supply or Christmas.

I've got 2 ships from SC's, either daily boxes or campaign rewards:

-Krasny Krym (seeing a pattern here).

-Gremyashchy.

Damn, either some people here have the luck of the gods, or the credit card of Croesus. 

 

I've won no premium ships from WG (excluding direct marathons) with the exception of the silver French t6 DD from the early release event. This is despite completing multiple sets of directives for free containers and buying 6 premium Black Friday boxes.

 

I did buy the Murmansk using in game currency but that doesn't count...

If I counted the Christmas boxes and air supply containers, and other event stuff, then I'd be listing more than 30+ premiums. But they don't count, as I opened my wallet.

Before 3 years I got Atlanta from SC, after that there was a marathon or directives? (Can't remember) got a Monaghan. Last year on WOWS anniversary with my last SC got a Belfast

Last week from anniversary SC got T-61, so total 4 ships from SC and special containers

no ship drops

 

49 SCs from missions/campaigns/anniversaries so far

got Texas on 30-11-2017

got Mutsu on 21-09-2019

 

On 17-04-2019 i got Graf Zeppelin from a standard Naval Aviation container, which technically isn't a SC, but it still was a free random container drop.

I forgot about that special T6 premium container that i got for participating in the PTS summer season. Got Monaghan from it on 01-08-2019.

I have been in the game since January 2016. But i got all my 4 ships from SC in the last year. Funny thing was, I never got them when I took the TYL-containers. Only since I moved to ressource containers, the occasional SC gave me ships.

 

First one was I think from some event container: Massachussetts B.

I love that ship and rather have this one than three bad ones. Great brawler, good credit earner. It got what you need to have an impact.

 

Then I got from a SC the Giulio Cesare.

Another jewel. I like it a lot, although T5 is not a frequently visited tier. No events there. GC is not very durable but the shells are tightly packed and hit hard. Nice BBs if you know how to aim.

Both ships were around the snowflage-event, if I remember correctly.

Then I got nothing for about 9 months and now, within 10 days I got 2 ships.

From a regular DC I got the Graf Spee.

It's not everybody's favorite, but an interesting concept. Hits CAs like a truck and with a hydro spec you can avoid torp attacks.

 

Finally I got the Monaghan from an anniversary SC. Gonna be a port queen. Too weak as a torpboat and outgunned as a gunboat. Might use it occasionally if AA is needed, but it's basically a Farragut with the often ignored C-hull.

 

Alltogether I am pretty happy with my ships. Most of them are powerful or at least interesting.

I dont think we should count the santa boxes and those kind of paid content

Just one, the TEXAS, back in March. I haven't got any supercontainers since and I have no tier 10, so I haven't got any supercontainers form those either. (I actually got the Dunkerque and the Anshan from Santa containers, but i don't count them since it has been a while since i got them)

I never buy containers (because Belgium, and because repulsive method of monetisation).

As you can see I have got 5 , and I took before the arrival of resource containers only TYL now More resources, and nearly all days the full 3. But as I have almost all ships (including the removed) it is barely anything left to get.

I wait for ships like GZ and Bayard to show up in the drawing list. As the ships I have got are decent tier there has been a good inflow, now I will get one automatic in doubloons.
