Main battle Load Screen Stats

Hi Guys

 

You know when the battle screen loads and you can hover over other ships and it sort of compares with yours. If it shows I have more stealth than an enemy DD for example is that current (me compared to him) or is it showing me what a stock ship is like compared to my flag and captain and module build?

 

I guess im asking is it a direct comparison with my ship to his

A bit of both IIRC

 

It takes into account any ship modules they might have loaded (e.g. B hull and Range upgrade) but it doesn't allow for any cammos, captain skills or upgrades they have mounted... but it DOES show the effect of cammo captain skills and upgrades on your ship. So it's pretty useless tbh, unless there is someone else in the same ship as you that you can compare 'base' stats with

Yes.

And that is why veteran players complety ignore these values.

The only use these stats have is to know which setup the enemy is using on certain ships before meeting them. It only makes sense on ships with loadout that change gameplay like which hull the harekaze is using or if the mogami is a 203 or 155 mm one, which torps the Shima/gearing uses etc. and this also only applies if you use the ship yourself and can compare or if you know the stats for the different settings. very situational and that even without taking into consideration if you actualy meet that ship on the battlefield or if it spawned on the other side of the map and is sunk before it even renders for you.

Just assume they have captain skill that roughly gives them +4 to concealment.

 

So if your concealment is 5 points better than his there is a chance that you spot them first.

All in all always assume they have max value possible for any given DD, and act accordingly.

You know concealment values for all ships by heart, doesn't you ;)
