Massive lag issues

Hi,

in the last time the lags have massively increased.
Every 2-3 seconds the game stops for a split second, sets the ship back a few meters and then repeats.
Very annoying. Please stop selling CBT access or improve servers instead.

Yeah I know that this is Beta. But with such terrible lag I don't really have fun playing and therefore can't test all the features I would like to.
Many other players complain about the lag in-game as well.

 

Hope you will do something about this.

I've had some pretty great desync the last few games. Sometimes I see my shells landing infront of the enemy ship, but I still get hits on them. Haven't noticed it before today.

Same here, bad lag and freezing in game. Even been kicked off the server in the middle of the battle.

Some lag issues for me atm. No disconnects but a lot of rubber banding at times.

I've only experienced this lag 2 times and both time was when the number of online players exceeded 6500.

I have big lag problem in the evening but only in the evenings so I agree custardSPARTA, must be server getting crowded. Daytime I have around 45-60ms and in the evening 80-180.

Re-Boot your router, that got rid of LAG & rubber-banding for me, hope it works for you

Been suffereing from this too. My early morning matches are a blessing. Come afternoon and it gets very frustrating. Getting kicked from the game or game wrecking lag spikes that have me unable to watch over my boat.

It's a server load issue, it only appears when the number of players exceed 7000.

Agree, the attached screen cap was taken around an hour ago.

 

Obviously the above cap is for the EU server.

Same here. Tried one match tonight, and gave up and logged out after about a minute because it was totally unplayable.

My first reaction was to lower my graphics settings. I have kept having these lag spikes now and then.

If this is all server side, as it seems, can I get my nice graphics back as they will not influence lag?

I believe it is because of the new influx of players with the purchase of beta access early. Russian server the same.

There is probably nothing you can do about it. Most of the lag seems to be coming from one of the German servers which include the World of Tanks Server (which is running wows). I think as others have said that the server is probably overloaded. I guess that it helps Wargamming estimate the server cover they need when open beta starts, this is a closed beta after all.

I have been having some pretty consistant lag since obt started, it's not too serious but it is annoying, it gets worse obviously in the evenings when everyones on, its like your ships stutters slightly in the water.

It wont make any difference m8, its server side lag.

Glad to see Im not the only one with this problem. First thought it had something to do with my new drivers or new windows installation.

But figured out it has indeed to be server side lag, or packetloss. And indeed most problems when servers are crouded.

For me the website does not load, and this also happened the last time the game lagged so bad that I couldn't play.

So it's more than the game server that's struggling here, it seems.

The site works fine for me. If you are having problems connecting to the site and the game, it sounds more like connection problems or ISP issues.

I guess the solution is simple, Wargaming needs to use the money we all spend on, for example, World of Tanks, to give us a few new/extra servers.

They make/made millions of revenue on World of Tanks alone, so why not buy/rent/install a few new servers to satisfy all the players.
