What's the maximum number of planes you have shot down in one game?

Have you ever spent the majority of a game dodging torpedo bombers? Had a game where that one carrier just wanted you dead nomatter the cost?

 

If so, how many planes did you blow out of the sky?

 

My record is 42 planes with the Yamato. That thing has pretty decent AA.

 

 

Anyone able to boast 50 plane kills in one single game?

52 in Pensacola with all AA range extention mods, just kept chasing planes like a kid chasing kites on international kite day (if there is such a thing)   - got 30 in Warspite few days ago which was funny.

The planes were harder to shoot down, but the people controlling the planes were worse at keeping them out of harm.

I thought 42 was alot. I was wrong. Would've loved to see that game. The barrels on the AA must've been red hot.

I can't remember if it was with the Yubari or the Kongo, but my max is 20 in one battle. I do know that I had two CV players going after my Kongo in a recent match, and that was a crazy amount of DBs and TBs... thinking about it, that was probably the 20.

33 with a carrier  trying to go against some of these ships is not easy to many losses keep on seeing less carriers in many battles now in the sipan last bast was against a lex really pointless 2 of us against him guess who lost all their planes to he lost none

Hmmm yeah I would think that fighters does wonders for the plane kill score vs 2 carriers

59 planes shot down, in a Yamato during the spaceships event. Was up against two Essex (Enterprice), one of them ran out of planes and tried to ram me at the end (you can see it in flames in the image below).

I -think- I was in New Orleans or perhaps Baltimore. Got planes thrown at me all game.

 

If we would have had the Defensive Fire skill I'm not sure how much more it would have been! Poor CV's!
