This I'm not so familiar with, I have a few but... yeah, the most part I can make it shorten up to Bismarck.

So, which ships I have to be careful with ?

which ships will be the meta? and so on.

(perhaps it will be a good idea to upgrade what I can).

Suits me. Poor Cleveland has no heals and eat serious damage from rockets and AP bombs. It’s going to be very unfunny for a lot of players.

Is it just me or has the CV/AA gone a full circle back to 9 months ago? I've had a couple of games this weekend where the CV just kept coming and deleted both my ships.

I'm getting flashbacks from last February where AA was just lights and noises, nothing more.

 

Monarch vs Ryujo, I got drops but in the war of attrition he won.

 

Graf Spee vs Ryujo, even in the lasts minutes of the game pretty much all 3 squadrons were fully planed, enemy CV was good.

Only BB’s really benefited from this AA change. Cruisers were just dumped on. Again. Worse for T8’s where most lack heals to help.

Not so much benefited, as they weren't as shafted as cruisers.

Yes they were...but I wonder how the Edinburgh will fair, not great with smoke I fear due to all the radar in the meta now. Could join them but ....so fragile.

radar Edinburgh is great but you have to be a bit careful at times to put it mildly, the amount of DDs you catch thinking they are safe in their smoke is really quite surprising

If things go in a somewhat similar fashion to the last T8 ranked I participated in then my prediction is it'll look like this: the strongest BB should be Massachusetts, although bow-tanking Vladivostoks might have a great impact, and there'll be plenty of Bismarcks and Tirpitzes with wildly varying degrees of success; among CAs/CLs, Chapayevs, Atagos and Martels should be in full force, smoke Edinburghs will be pretty useless while the occasional radar one will be the overworked maid, and there'll be more Baltimores than Clevelands; in DDs Bensons and Z-23s will be the workhorses, maybe the British will be the most useful but certainly the Russians the most selfish and the Japanese the most handicapped ones; regarding CVs, Big E will be crowned as the queen of the sky with no close contender this time, and almost nobody will use Saipan.

If you want AA you're gonna need to pick Massachusetts or Alabama. T8 cruisers are especially vulnerable to CVs.

Im gonna try to make massa work, i know, a brawler secondary meme ship is not especially meta, but good aa vs carriers, and ive made her work very well in randoms holding about 72% wr with her
