Have you guys seen the chances of specific loot in "Super Containers" collected after around 600 reported container openings for Anniversary event?

 

 

 

 

Our fellow @black_falcon120 did absolutely SUPERB job collecting our data - many many congrats to him!

Those numbers roughly correspond with my experience. Great effort and thanks for posting.

 

Edit: Of my 6 birthday SCs I had so far, 3x 50 camos, 2x 100 normal flags and 1x 50k free xp.

No problem and I've added your data and some others, and fixed a small excel error. There are now 670 openings :)

Opened 27 SCs and got mostly flags and cammos that I already have 35 000 of. No steel, no premium-ships, no premium-time. 1 000 doubloons, 50k FXP and 30k coal was the best from it. The rest ="Meh". One big anticlimax.

The thing is, I'm sure there's loads of new players who are short of camos/signals who are loving this - it's just us "veterans" with hundreds of camos/signals already that see it as a bit "meh" when you have 800 "ramming" flags already and get another 100!

 

TBH I think that there should be a "account check" carried out when you drop a SC so if you have hundreds of camos/signals it gives you something else instead. Although that'll probably annoy people too

Bit of a shame so many forumers did not make the effort to write down exactly what they got instead of the "i got such and such out of X SC's the rest i did not like"

I was really lucky to get that 1.5k steel then. 

SC's were good the first two years after that, not anymore

You did appear to be quite unlucky... but the big shock for me was just how many flags and camouflages dropped from the containers instead of coal, steal, fxp etc. I knew ships would be rare, but I didn't realise quite how rare.  

 

They appear to be aimed at helping new players rather than 'old' ones.  I suspect it's due to old players being harder to keep happy without breaking the economy. as someone who's only got 3 containers from this event, but is still a fairly well  established player, I can't see a way they could have given me something special without breaking the economy for people like you who got 27 of them...

ps if you look in the data tab, you can see where I got all my data from, and who I got it from, it's not all from this forum, some came from reddit and the NA forum, I found the variety in the number containers people got interesting as well.

I would have been happy with just a few more of them being premium-time, steel, coal and/or doubloons. Not many, but just a few.

I didn't get any ships becuase I already have all of them but then, IMHO, I should get another "low-chance" instead of flags and cammos.

 

85% of the drops was things that I had thousands of and this happens once a year.  And how many new players have 26 T10s in port?

 

Right now I'm working on my T8s for the "gifts". Already done T9 and T10. Don't know if I'll bother with the rest since I already have 359 of those cammos. But it's good for the clan with me racking up over 2 000 oil this week just from playing.

I suppose one could assume that the 600 reported container openings mentioned in this thread title could have been pulled out of someones imagination but that would to me be a very strange conclusion to draw.

In my 7 SCs, I got 15k coal x1, 1x 50camos, 100m normal flags x3, 1 x 25 special flags and a crap but very welcome Duke of York, the first premium from a SC I have ever had.
