Hi all,

 

How many "Premium" ships you have (not counting ARP and similar)?

 

Last time I checked I was very surprised that I have 53...

 

I hope to get "Exeter" and "Dreadnought" when next (hopefully next week with anniversary) doubloon discount happens because I was not able to participate in contests where they were given away... I also have 1.1M FreeXP and can afford "Friesland" but it might be the very first FreeXP ship that I will pass (have all the rest)...

I have 49 premiums (counting the coal ships) plus 8 ARP ships.

 

On those 49, 24 of them were free (obtained through event, contest, SC, coal, steel or free golds). I have almost 2 million free XP but none of the free XP ships seem interesting ...

Three ships from Supercontainers (yes, I know that I am lucky in that regard).

All free XP ships, except the Friesland (less then 400k to go).

All coal ships, except the Jean Bart and the Charleston.

One steel ship.

Some of them bought with doubloons that were earned in the game.

One ship (Mikasa) won in a forum competition.

Marblehead was gained via the Lootboy website.

The rest are earned by completion of events, campaigns, missions or are lucky draws from event containers.

None of them are paid for with money (except the 89 cent for the Cossack tokens).

Not counted: ARP Kongo, Kirishima, Haruna, Hiei, Ashigara, Myoko, Haguro, Takao, and the Southern Dragon

Checked today by coincidence: 35 regular premiums, many of which tier 9-10s (in total 9) and 5 ARP ships. 
 

From the 35 i think roughly half, maybe even slightly more is from events, free Xp and coal, or slingshotted through an event (such as buying the Gallant to get Cossack more easily and get doubloons, same with Hill and Benham etc. 
So if you include "freely obtained" doubloons in that sense it will be widely half, although you can also argue you paid for doubloons and got the ship for free. 
And a couple from boxes, such as a Tirpitz B from my 1 black friday premium container haha

Exeter is brilliant, but suffers from MM, you'll face Fiji's who can't fire HE but do have smoke.

 

Dreadnought, worst ship I've had, fortunately got it free, given the amount of CV's within it's Tier, and the ship's horrendous AA; NONE, avoid unless you're a collector.

 

Had lots, some free, some very cheap on steam and one 1/2 price (never paid full price);  at moment 5; Hood, Indy, Warspite, Shiny Horse, Sims

 

Gonna buy back, stupidly got rid of; Tirp B (got free), and Cossack (also free). 

 

Gonna Buy when next sale on ; Alabama.

I have had more  - including the ARP ships, but the only Premium ships I regret not currently having are Z-39 (should have tried harder with that one) and Perth.  

 

My least favourite amongst that lot, btw, is Gallant.

I paid 0.89€ for Cossack and got the rest for free. Ever since the game left beta testing, i've only missed Benham (way too much effort) and Gallant (got Warspite instead) out of all event or campaign freebies so far.

I'm currently sitting on enough doubloons (from events), coal, steel and free xp to instantly get at least 5 additional ships, but i've decided to wait and see how the game develops.

Around 100 but, apart from the Imp Nik I don't play many of the T4 or lower ones which must be a good 20-30 ships worth. I'm struggling to collect coal at a fast enough rate for the Smolensk/Salem/Thunderer and stopped collecting Steel at 5k's worth as it was too painful but the RB ships hold no interest for me.

41 with 8 ARP's here, enough to get me a collectors emblem/flag ( idk what it was really since it didn't have any benefits ). Not one of the coal or steel ships tho yet.

See signature. The ones in cursive are paid/partially paid for. The ones in regular did not require a monetary transaction (bonuscode, coal-grind, marathon-reward, themed container,...). None of the ships came from a supercontainer. Enterprise came from a standard CV-container earlier this year, Mutsu came from the free Santa-crate of 2017, Atlanta was a bonus-mission during the Indianapolis-marathon, Alabama dropped out of a Yuzral CCT-container.
