Will WG give the guys that got invite to CB and have more then 1000 game played will get a ship when we go into OB

Why would you expect compensation? Anyhow, while it's unclear if they'll give out a ship to beta participants (given it's now a semi-open beta), 1k battles seems like a very high threshold.

It's possible there will be a gift, which one and with which requirements is unknown.

What makes you believe that you are entitled to 'compensation' for participating in the beta test?

 

I seem to remember a number of threads where you were begging to be allowed to participate, is this not enough for you?

 

When you eventually got in you knew that there would be a wipe before going live, yet now you are stating you 'won't be happy' with an account wipe.

 

You sir, are the epitomy of what is bad about some players testers.  It's all about you, and not about the game.

 

Grow up, be happy that you are in the beta TEST and take the advantage of experience into the alpha and beyond.

 

There may indeed be a beta reward, but that should be a bonus, not an expectation...

If they are nice and give you a special premium ship just for beta testers then you curtsey and say thank you like a good boy and if you get nothing then that really just is the normal way of things.

Compensate - the act or state of compensating, as by rewarding someone for service or by making up for someone's loss, damage, or injury by giving the injured party an appropriate benefit.

 

As (apart from purchased tokens and packages) WG have given you the opportunity to try for free (no matter if you have played 1 or 1000 battles) and with that in mind they are well within their rights to say thanks and goodbye. It is a shame that you are expecting something as you already have received the opportunity to be part of the early testing process whilst many are still waiting (those that do not want to pay for entry).

 

There are many that work tirelessly behind the scenes and offer their services freely, they would never consider to expect any form of reward for what is an enjoyable experience.

 

Me? I am just glad that I have been part of this experience and having made some good friends in the course of WoWs has been reward enough.

WG should give away prizes for people who contribute rather than to those who only yelp about it on forums.

You are in beta to help develope the game not to get head start in it. How many bugs have you reported? I believe none.

If you have 1000 plus games and we're not in the beta from the very start I suggest you take a break from playing games and work on your social life. Maybe even go.......outside!

I know there has been gifts or call it compensations in previous WG titles but it's not necessary I'm my opinion. Even if they consider that, it should be rather some gold or perhaps premium days. I don't think they throw out a ship for 8k testers.

This is a closed Beta - what do you expect? special treatment?  Yes they will give CBT a gift - im sure i read it in a post somewhere on Asia forum (cant find it) the Alphas have obviously and rightly got a gift.  1000 games indicates nothing, a player who has 20 games and submitted 10 tickets to the dev team is more important than someone who played 10,000 and submitted none, perhaps there needs to be a reward for those who discover real bugs and are the first say 50 to do so on each one?  that would make sense in a beta.  The only thing i do not agree with is paying real money for premiums, in WOT and WOP we were given gold in order to test, seems like they are trying to handcuff people into WOWP already.  However having said that, they do offer a no quibbles 14 day money back offer.

As no promises were made when we joined beta (with the exception of account wipe), one should not build up big expectations.

Even if no reward is given, I am happy since:

- So far I had a lot of fun playing and testing the game

- Experience gained will allow for some nasty sealclubbing at OBT launch (especially in low tiers)

- Providing some feedback to support makes me feel that I am contributing in making the game a little better for the entire future playerbase.

 

Nevertheless, I doubt that there will be no rewards whatsoever. Maybe not a ship, but some free xp, gold, a few premium days... is quite likely.

For example, if I had to choose between a premium ship and free xp, I would choose free xp

 

Edit: I really do not understand why OP is being negrepped. He is not being rude, aggressive or ignorant, but just expresses his opinion & expectations. +1 from me to compensate

Yes, quite, you are right. Although to be fair there is such a repeated bad choice of words it just happens to then come across as a "I feel entitled" sort of a post. To extrapolate then that could just be a coincidental consequence of making all those poor word choices in the first instance.

With WoT to qualify for the beta gift tank you had to have a certain number of battles from a set date.

 

What happened is that some players who had been active for a long time missed out because they did not continue 'testing'.

Open beta participants who have played at least 100 battles in the game will be awarded the ‘Sikorsky 4^th class medal’, a special parade camouflage and OBT reward emblems. Players who have played more than 700 battles will additionally be rewarded with the ‘Pegasus’ plane.

 

Note: All reward planes come with a hangar slot and a 100% trained crew.

The gifted ‘parade camouflage’ is just an additional skin and gives no concealment bonuses to the plane. Later on, this special camouflage will be available for use on any plane. However, for the moment it’s only compatible with the following aircraft:
