@CptMinia IIRC Irian was available for doubloons upon release, ok it was in those boxes but still, I bought her for premium CV refund gold

Hello, I got the Prinz Eugen rental just a few minutes ago.

Since this is the first one of those rentals I actually care about (I like the Admiral Hipper), I would like to test it a bit more, but in order not to test a handicapped version I would have to install some upgrades on it .

Now I wonder what happens to those upgrades when the rental expires. Are they sold of, dismounted, or do they disappear along with the ship?

Does anyone have some insight on this matter that they could share?

Upgrades on rentals always get demounted when the rental period expires.

Yeah, so far I got, in the order: Sharnhorst, Ashitaka, Massachusetts, Duke of York, Tirpitz, and now Prinz Eugen. I mean, i don't really want all of them (I don't really even need Massa as i already have Georgia) but the ones i whould have kept are Sharnhorst and Ashitaka, but I'm F2P, so i didn't get them. 

I also have an idea for Christmas, which was inspired buy a comment made by Flambass in his Puerto Rico video (pay attention to his division mate reaction), I doubt that they are ever going to do that, but I think that it's cool and would make WG more liked by the community, and it's that on Christmas , you log-in, and you can get a premuim ship of your choise for free (Free XP, coal, steel and Research Bureau ships don't count), I think that it could also be balanced with a mechanic that you can't get a premium ship of a Tier higher than the highest Tier regular ship you have (It wouldn't be a problem for me, but for example, let's say somebody is only at Tier 6, he could only get up to a Tier 6 premuim). 

I mean, I think it's about time that WG does something different for the community and gose away from RNG lootboxes and turning everything into impossible grinds

This is why you don't spend on the game at all. Even shutting wallet close after expenditures doesn't net you any fancy pancy ships to test drive
