How to attack other planes

Its been a while since i didn played the game, i am playing aircraft carriers and i noticed they got changed, i know how to use them but i still have no idea how to attack other planes with my fighters

you have to spawn them in the route of the enemy planes

Better try some Coop games to get your aiming right.

No direct offensive actions against enemy planes. All you can do is to put Patrol Fighters over teammate you would want to protect or on predicted course of enemy squadron.

The new Fighter-Consumable can be compared to the Smoke of the DDs. You place them somewhere (mostly above objectives or other mates) and people can "use" them for 1 minute.

Please not. You should not waste your fighters this way and safe them to actually drop them over a cap into which your DD is approaching, or safe them for the end game to protect your BBs from being ultra-hammer-focussed by enemy CVs. CV players with the slightest gameplay knowledge will not fall for this cheap trap.
