Played around with all t8 premium CVs in coop, and while not representative of the real randoms world, Enterprise is my favorite so far.

GZ is quite meh, tho and apparently it lost its HAS. WTF WG? The hydro was the only reason to play the GZ back in the day when CVs were cool meat eating rock stars doing chicks.

WG turned them into overperforming streamlined, mass compatible Vegan boy groups talking about waxing, and which plastic sex doll brings the most bang for buck and snorting cocaine while being protected by a goon squad.

Right, I hated them back then and I do hate them now even more.

I can see tho, why WG pulled the Enterprise from the store.

Fluctuations, eh?

Do you really need Concealment Expert in CV?

you need especially in small maps...  you will be amazed how big your visibility circle is :D

Also your planes will be less visible and will under AA fire less

The more stealth the merrier

No, but since there aren't any good alternatives left you will most likely take it. IIRC I'm running this on all CVs right now.  Already has some experiments with aiming in Tier 4 and Adrenaline rush and didn't find them useful. Then again the rework still feels half baked.

Just out of curiosity, does IFHE work with CV HE bombs?

So, i had this game in the Ark Royal.

Pls tell me what i did wrong.

Hard to point a finger at a game with 100k+ when bottom-tier, but here goes:

1. At the 15-minute mark, when attacking Warspite with torpedoes, you could turn around for the second attack quicker. The Swordish are so slow and nimble that you don't need to go more than 2 km away from the target. The aiming indicator will narrow down fast enough if you only aim with mouse. You need to start the follow-up attack into the right direction since you have limited time to correct the aim. This would reduce the time you spend in AA a lot, and can make the difference between being able to do one more attack. In fact at the 12-minute mark again against Warspite it nearly did.

2. I would play just a bit closer still. At the 13-minute mark for example you're at the A/B line, but around B/C line would be safe enough. It's always a bit of a gamble playing on the edge of your concealment, but it pays off in every single game. Every single attack is quicker.

3. Make a bit heavier turns (with keyboard) when flying against flak? You catch it a few times. Flak puff spawning locations chance every 2 seconds, so once in AA range but outside 3.5 km it calls for a clear change in direction or speed every 2 seconds. I would try this in the testing room, since there it's easier to focus on just flak. Once you get the correct rhythm flying through flak unharmed becomes second nature.

Is Sight Stabilisation a useful skill now? Previously I wouldn't have taken it over concealment.

Depends what you like better. Getting closer (less flight time) and hitting more often,

or being able to turn like a madman (staying close, out of the FLAK) and get one more good hit.

I have sight stabilisation on the IJN and US CV, because of torps. Makes them aim quicker.

Imo, no. For 4 points, just no.

Ss is useful... There are no better skills to take. It improves quality of life so much....

The numbers don't look impressive but without it all your attacks will be less accurate.

It aims 10% faster, not 10% tighter. And I find that aim time is not the main issue most of the time. I consider CE already a better skill for the reduced search area of planes and the better stealth on the hull, while on IJN CVs it gives very nice torp bomber stealth too.

That's true, but it depends on the playstyle.

I always hide my CV behind something, detection range doesn't matter much... I stay undetected unless they find the island.

I do not like to re-locate as the I have to deal with the drunk AI-WG-pilot again (oh my goodness...).

So I find myself a nice spot... and usually stay there. I only re-locate when it is handy or required.

I do however kinda swoop around with any planes... so the 10% less aiming time is beneficial.

Also... I minimise plane losses by picking targets that are behind an island/mountain/whatever.

They don't see me coming... often I do not even get flak because I'm already in DPS-bubble when spotted.

Ss for me, then.

To those that leave their CV in the open, and like to relocate a lot, yes CE.

I can see where/when/how it is handy.
