Is there any way to still get a CV refund?

Heya.

 

So back when they reworked the CVs, I wasn't playing the game. I had zero clue about the CV rework. Now a couple weeks ago I installed the game again and realised that I don't enjoy CVs anymore, I don't like the new style. However I decided to grind the remaining 20k until Ranger since maybe I'd enjoy playing a CV with decent planes, but no, I didn't like it either.

 

I'm just wondering if there is a way to still ask for that refund, since I feel like I wasted my time leveling these up for no reason.  Before someone starts saying "mimimi it's a free game, deal with it", I'm not demanding a refund, I'm just asking if it's possible.

Unfortunately, WG have said that after the refund period which was over 2 months and the notifications for it which they sent out over every platform available over that period they will not be providing refunds to players who did not take advantage of the opportunity when it was first presented. This question has been answered a few times on streams and the answer seems unlikely to change.

That's curious since I never got any mails regarding that. The last mail I got from WG was in 2017 regarding some PTS rewards, but I've also been receiving promotional mails before that, so I'm not sure why I didn't get that mail. Ah well, such is life I guess.
