Belfast is basically one man army, it is not uncommon to hold flank alone against 5-6 ships in Belfast when you're top tier and still come out as a winner. You could fill entire topic with the battles where Belfast was top in the table with more than 1000 base xp more than the second player in the winning team. I could live with her easier if sh actually had torps, I now need a team mate who actually has her for i just cannot make her work, which is odd as I can sometimes have good games in the American cruisers. I'm missing something,and not just other ships, lol I was the same could never make the Belfast work I thought my job was to get near the caps and destroy ant DDs who dared to enter , It worked to a certain degree I would normally kill a DD and then die to a crapload of focus fire. It was only later on that I talked to a guy who had a 70% solo WR in her and found out that he never used to bother first 5 mins of a game he would just go with the flow and really push in the later stages and he stated that's where the Belfast shines in the latter half of a game. I never really got a chance to try these tactics out but it does make sense if you can survive by being just a gunboat and not pushing at the start of the game in the latter stages you have all the tools to mop up.
