Like seriously i am getting really pissed of at the god damn critical error and no error report crashes that have been happening to me all the time, and i know i am not the only one since my clan mates complain about it too.

I really dont understand what is wrong, i dont use any mods, my client is completely vanilla, my pc is sure as hell strong enough to handle the game and my internet is also pretty good and i know its not the internet since i am still connected to the discord server.

I ran WGCheck 4 times and nothing comes up.

Whats the most infuriating thing is that i am running much more demanding games for hours with out any problems.

Help me pls!!

I thought I was the only one xd. after 0.8.7 went live I am also experiencing tons of Crashes with WG Critical Error text. I had a couple of camoflage mods running, thought that they were causing trouble, removed them from res_mods. Problem still persists. I hardly got any crashes before 0.8.7, Also My threadripper +GTX 1060 can handle anything I play on ultra.

I played For 8 hours Yesterday, WG critical error occurred 3 times.

I had almost same thing on 0.8.6. because I didn't play much then, it didn't bother me so much (occurred 2 times hell knows why).

Other than other stuff like checking drivers are up to do you can only check the game logs or send them to support.

It may not be something that can be fixed by the user and requires a patch.

I had a couple of crashes, too, the last days. They are however restricted to the results screen. I think it's a client thing.

Pink 4 times now.. Many many crashes and huge lag spikes (several seconds)..

Ive invested hundreds of pounds into this game. We deserve better than this.

I get it quite often. I did a post about it in the Tech corner section. Event id 108 is what I get. It's very frustrating, especially during ranked and clan battles.

Hello.

I'd just like to get some information of anyone who is experiencing these crashes. If you could answer the simple questions below that would be great. Please do not post confidential information!

  • Operating system and version?
  • Short description of the problem. I.E "Screen freeze, game freeze, game closes suddenly with error message, computer freeze, etc"
  • Do you get a WoWS Crash log on event or not?
  • Have you updated your drivers to the latest stable version? Driver details and version.

Hopefully if we can get some similar cases we can start narrowing down faults. however I must insist that people contact WarGaming support which you can do here! They will have a better idea of how to help you than I!

An event ID108 is likely a directory error. I.E It's when your operating system tries to access data using a specific directory but is unable to. This could be because the directory has moved, been deleted, is corrupt etc.

Assuming you're on windows 10. When the crash happens note the system time, then go to your search bar and type "Event Viewer". Click on "Windows log" and access the system logs. Click on "Level" to sort the seriousness of errors and find warnings or fatal errors that correspond to the error ID you get which happened just before the time stamp of the crash. If you click on the log, you'll find more details which can help narrow down the cause of the crash. Note that this does not provide an accurate solution, it's more of a guideline to what is wrong.

Had the same issue as well. It got so bad that every 2-3 games I experienced a crash. So, I issued a ticket to support (they were very helpful and quick to respond btw) and they advised me to uninstall mods (don't have any), update the drivers (done that previously), delete all files from the cache folder etc. I've done it all and it did help a bit but the crashes still continued. What solved the issue for me was that I reduced the graphics to medium overall. Since then I haven't got a single crash. Usually my PC is more than capable to run the game even at maximum graphics which makes the problem strange but at least now I can play uninterrupted. My advice is to try a few games with lower graphic setting and see if it works. Hope this helps!

Edit: I still get some weird FPS drops sometimes though
