If you are in a Nassau you dont stand a chanse if there are CV in game. The already weak AA is useless now, and CV torp planes kill left right and center among BB`s... Played 3 games as Nassau and i lasted longest when i ancored close to a CV... I will stop playing untill next patch and hope the "problem" would be solved asap. [GLOBS] gmomkey Players 273 posts 22,085 battles Report post #4 Posted August 29, 2019 Love the port guys but . the ship is set too low on the screen and you cant read the name plate , maybe have the name of the ship in black ? as you see , you can't see the the majority of the ship .even if you pan round a large portion is hidden . maybe the angle of the camera could be adjusted a little ? it would be nice to see what is written on the plaque . other wise it's looking good so far . how can I do the Clan Battles ??? as I am the only one in my clan on the PTS ? and it seams that my Clan Tags are MIA ? [GLOBS] gmomkey Players 273 posts 22,085 battles Report post #6 Posted August 29, 2019 2 CV's a team in any tier is too much .. but tier 10 is brutal I know this is PTS . but please for the love of the Players can we keep it to 1 CV a team through all tiers . and the AA fire is sounding a little Space Battle ish ? like the sounds from the Space camo's but they are normal camo's . I am not saying they are bad per se, it probably just takes some time getting used to them. So taking off reminds me of an old gas lawn mawer (I think it's actually much closer to the real sound of starting WW2 piston engines, but as I said, it will take time). Overall, the planes sound more like a race car, especially when starting to boost. And there is this futuristic short sound bit when boosting. CV suddenly stops, go backward, then stop again and then go slowly somewhere that is not they are supposed to!! The left path was out generated after I draw the right one! The old lines where pointless, they just showed the connection between points. The points you can still set, but the lines show you no information, because it was not the real path only a path between points. Now it shows the real path, and it gives you the information, that the CV wants to move back to have enought space for a turn. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

When the ship standing before an obstacle, AI move first back and then he start turning left or right. Player in most of case can turn without problem, rudder full right or left and then 3/4 speed, but preset distance to identify obstacles for AI is too far because he turn left or right with full speed and then he starting turn left or right. how to solved it: at obstacles: 1. set the distance for AI a little closer => set turning radius for AI to 3/4 speed not for full speed => turning radius is smaller 2. if ship standing before obstacle (ofcourse for new preset distance and speed = point 1.) first set full turn right or left and then 3/4 speed 3. set borderline = not obstacles AI was improved in 0.8.7 but we need still a little bit more in related with obstacles Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The only thing i noted was that the AA is way too powerfull against a tier 6 CV, tier 8 CV planes have a little bit more survivability, if all modules and talents are upgraded. [GLOBS] gmomkey Players 273 posts 22,085 battles Report post #25 Posted September 7, 2019 Perfect WG ship could do with being Higher up on the screen . but the plate is now readable this is the default camera angle . I have a 20" screen . yeah I know its small but lots of Captains run this on a Laptop with the same ish size screen . also the Clan Battle notice on the live server is below the ship Carasol and is annoying . Maybe the Ships centre mass should be in the centre of the screen ? and the Clan Battle notification raised to the centre ? ( Yeah I know that is going to take a little time . ) as you can see in the 3rd Screen shot . there is a ton of pretty screen space above the Ship . with the movable camera you would still be able to pan around the port but when the port goes to the default view having the ship higher would help a lot .
