[FAITH] G00nZodiacpkd Players 1 post 2,998 battles Report post #1 Posted August 17, 2019 Good Morning All so i had an incident where i shot off a bunch off torp's. i made sure to check my line of fire the best i could and some destroyer (ally) decided to take the hit, this Destroyer litrally 180'd (my guess to torp run himself) to my line of fire and the blinking warnings where not enough for him to take notice. any way so i got team damage. i then had another player sail in front of me so that i rammed him and got more team damage so much to the point i blow up as i was stuck on him. i also had a couple of disconnects over the next day or so meaning i was reported i guess for being AFK im sure its always the same map but i dont know what map it is because i never manage to load in. My question is how long am i banned from playing Vs battles? i don't go outta my way to damage my own team and generally watch my shots.

You will have gotten a message saying how long it would be and you will get further messages at the end of each game.
[CN_] _Kettenbeisser Beta Tester 210 posts 13,224 battles Report post #3 Posted August 17, 2019 If you're just pink you can still play random, bit should start watching what you're doing because any further teamdmg gets reflected multifold on you. You are only barred from random ranked and cw if you get orange. Also after every battle and in every battle report is a notice how many "disciplined" battles you still need to remove your pink Status. Furthermore you should try to repair your client. [WCBG] BrusilovX Beta Tester 2,838 posts 24,471 battles Report post #4 Posted August 17, 2019 If you get regular disconnects it could be your internet that is at fault. If you use wi-fi I'd try and use a cable to connect to the router rather than use wi-fi. It may only be marginally better but it could make a difference. If you get a DC then unless your internet is down then you should be able to get into the battle after a minute of two at the most. If you have problems loading into certain maps I'd look to either remove any mods you've installed or to reduce your graphic settings. As for the friendly DD deciding to 'take the hit' that is rubbish. It's more to do with how you've fired your torps from the 2nd line (or even further back). Don't expect a DD to sail in a straight line - they like to move around to either dodge shells or torps that were fired at them by the enemy. There is a saying "your torps your problem". Post a replay of the game so we can see if that DD really did decide to 'take the hit' or it was a bad play on your part.

[I-J-N] Admiral_Karasu Players 13,025 posts Report post #6 Posted August 17, 2019 Pink seems to be the latest rage, I keep seeing it in almost every battle now. More seriously, are you sure you weren't torping from the 2nd line? That is a risky practice. Sometimes also when I'm sailing close to another DD they fire torpedoes so that I almost have to dodge them myself, some of the are pretty good so they pass just ahead of me when running on full speed. You can never be completely safe with long range torps though. My first pink was when some torps I had fired hit a friendly DD half way across the map.... Also, some BB's act irrationally and push straight towards the enemy line of BBs which you were trying to hit with your torpedoes.. with predictable results. When I go pink it is for 2 battles. I play a couple of very cautious coops and the problem is solved.
