OK, I did some math.

The Colbert costs 57k RP.

I have 5+ T10s so I will get 10k RP when this goes live.

Each line I unlock will get me 10k so I have to unlock five lines.

It took me four years to unlock 21 lines so lets even that to 5 lines/year.

That means it will take me 10-12 months to get the Colbert.

OK, I'm a better player nowadays but on the other hand I play less so that will even it out.

Do I want to spend almost a year to get one ship that I will hardly play?

When the legendary modules came I did the math and came to the conclusion that I had to play nothing but T10s for eight months to get all of them so I just didn't bother. I have two T10s at stage two, rest of the are still in stage one.

The "prize" is to far way and costs too much for me to even bother so I can imagine how it feels for those who has to do all this AND unlock enough T10s before thay even get to where I am.

As I see it this is a waste of resources on something that only a few will ever use. Better use of the time and money would have been:

* More scenarios.

* More missions for low/mid-tier ships.

* New gamemodes for randoms.

More to do with what we got rather than doing the same with stuff locked behind yearlong missions.

I try hard to find out the previews week. Nowhere a button for delete. is that legal?

According to GDPR there must be a way to totaly delete a former customer/associate from the records so there must be a something. Even by a regular ticket.

I forgot to mention: I don't need another incentive to play low tier ships, your MM is all the reason I need to avoid tier 8 and above. I paid tons for ships because I enjoy them, but your stubborn refusal to make your game less arbitrary has me become just as stubborn when it comes to buying your shyt or investing myself in any of your stupid grind fests.

Likely just reset US cv line, free xp to lexington, grind that one, buy midway, rinse and repeat.

Players can take this or leave it. At least it is better than adding battle enhancement to existing tier 10's.

My main query is:

The statement says that on reset, all of the modules will be automatically sold for half price.

WHAT ABOUT THE LEGENDARY MODULES? They are a massive grind, and require a complete change in play style. Does this mean we will have to regrind the legendary modules? I can find no further details on the release.

WG: We want players to enjoy and relive the glory of low and mid tiers!

Also WG: But we do not want to give research points for playing low and mid tiers!

Yeah, nice false advertising on your obvious money- , FXP- and creditsink Mr Wargaming. How about not alienating and lying to your playerbase for once?

I have idea, how this could be useful :Smile_smile:  WG should force reset tech tree line for those who underperform with tier X ship of that line :Smile_trollface:
Maybe we will see way less of those not very bright tactical "aces" who does nothing most of the match, trying to save HP,  only to feed all their HP to enemies few minutes later? :Smile_trollface:

hi I don't usually  get involved in disputes but... this is an option and free to choose if you have every ship in game you will find you don't play all of them :) so if you wish to delete your ships to get a unique ship its not a bad option and its free choice. also its for using on other ships in the tech trees you don't have so I think this might be aimed at people who would like rare ships and have the choice to do that. I can understand that people that don't have any tier x ships would like the chance at a unique ship i.e  those that cannot play as much as everyone else so maybe there should be another option for those people as well.plus all this talk about war gaming being greedy these people work and they should get paid for there hard work.so this greed I see that people keep saying would they work for free.

From a marketing point of view, it is wise to listen to your potential customers.

Otherwise you will not meet the goals and the Whole new idea will turn into a disaster, including people already not happy, leaving the game.

Apparently WG listens to such people like ujea that was whining about no endgame in this game. So they made it even though the smallest minority wanted it. Cause how much people have all T10s? Not much. I’m one of those who have them. For me it’s not a problem to regrind it. But most people don’t have time, they’ll get frustrated over those who have more spare time to play and will have the Colbert.

Right but because WG asked players opinion and vast majority disliked it, I really struggle to understand why to go on.

Totally agree. But IMO the Whole concept has the purpose to push players to spend more free XP. Now to get free XP there only 2 way: you play a lot or you use gold to convert the XP accumulated on premium or Tier X.

If the rate of conversion would be more favorable more players will probably keen to BUY gold and do the conversion: let's make an example;

to get 1 million Free XP at normal rate (1 to 25) you need 40 K Gold (dobloons) for a prize of  cost 131 Euro. At a discount rate of 1 to 35 you need 28 k dobloons (a little bit more but let's round down) for a prize of 92 Euro.

For my wallet this is a little expensive and that is why people talk about greediness.

For what concern me the point is that I do not find appealing to spend hours and hours regrinding a line. And I do not think is also convenient from an economic point of view.

Yeah, though that guy ujea (Polish CC) said this for long months that he’s bored playing same ships in randoms. No other cc said that. I assume he had too much spare time lol.

Economically it’s not good cause you’ll need credits (you sold the ships for 50% of their price in the reset process).

it wouldnt be so bad if you got the full amount you paid when you reset a line.but giving 50% is just taking the p#@s.all modules should be kept or fully refunded, same goes for the ships.this just seems like a huge insult to even try to implement such a cheeky cash grab,ive got 5 tx BBs that cost 20m each so why would i sell them for 10? and then after that regrind and have to buy them back at full price never mind having to grind some of the ships i hated the 1st time round lol???? wow that really is a joke but not a funny one.this will be put upon us at some point without the choice thats my prediction. we will see

I'm not going to play all day every day for 3 months to try and regrind an entire tech tree to get points for a ship that may not be there or in the form it was when i started the grind.

This is exactly the hidden goal of WG. Nobody wants to do it. So let's use free XP, wich requires gold to convert.

Wasn't it more honest to sell Colbert (or Others) for 1 million free XP like they have done with other ships?

Finally someone got it. Thats exactly the goal! WG perfectly know that a sane person will never regrind 4-5 lines again. WG don't care if people are playing low tiers or not either. The only thing they want is to reduce accumulated credits/free XP to zero and make people buy gold to convert all the new huge amount of XP on tier 1 ships in free XP again. Thats the point of the whole story, open your eyes, people!

Maybe somehow they care a bit cause they were saying that too much people play T10. So people stopped buying T8 premiums cause they were most battles against T10.
