Nephew Woes and How WR is linked to skill.

This is what happens when you let your nephew play on your account as he is over for summer hols. You can see where I jumped back in for a 17 game session. Anyone that thinks WR is not linked to player skill, PR and damage output is a fool. I'm going to get him an account LOL and not let him near mine again.

 

Interestingly on his 45% WR session I was advising him (between cooking etc) what to do but his aim was terrible. But he did improve significantly with some guidance over his first sessions that were sub 40%.

To be honest he has been bugging me to play for ages so I thought actually it will be an interesting exercise because the difference between how a new player plays and how I play will be glaring to see in my stats which it was.  But I wont let him again LOL. He can have his own account now.

No he jumped into ships he wanted to and I do apologise to the teams that had to suffer his efforts cough.. For his first two sessions I let him be and you can see his stats were just awful. I did make him watch some Flamu before hand and also gave him the basics too on aiming and positioning etc. He played about 50 games in total over the week.

Looking at the state of play over the last few weeks I think a hell of a lot of people lent their accounts to their nephews...

Well it is summer holidays and a lot of these kids want to jump into games like this during this time as they have nothing to do. Also bear in mind he had 19 point captains on all ships he chose, full camo, T2 modules etc and also guidance. And he is a little gamer too! Even I was surprised how bad he actually was to be honest. It made me re think how easy or not this game actually is! I think it's harder than we think it is for a new player.

I've been baffled by the amount of stoopid I have seen last few days in high tiers, especially last friday. It makes me not want to play any longer. Please do not lend your account to kids, make them a new account from the get go, it's free after all and they can and should start where everyone starts, at tier 1 learning the basics.

Being targeted by enemy cv wanting to dislodge my stubborn t8 from a good defensive position  I asked an idle t10 cv to help and he replied who? as if he was blind or otherwise distracted. It was in a interesting turn of the game (which ofc I lost no question about it) and I rage quit after that as I couldn't even think of what to say.  Now if he was having an early orgy or was in the middle of a great drug summer festival then I apologize for ruining his mojo.

Good excuse, when your win rate drops, blame a 'new' player playing your account. Sorry, don't believe a word as his/your damage in T9 and T10's is as good or even better than your supposed games, especially in particularly hard ships to play.

Weird thing is, this time I didn't curse at all just politely protest some stuff in game but the system caught my act and slapped me again hard lol

Lol. I just got reported 2x because I explained someone complaining about us DD's not racing into certain death that all our DD's were smokeless tier V DD's in a tier VII match including CV's which would explain us being careful. When I pointed to our full team camping in the back 5 minutes later, while us DD'S were actually capping I guess I hit a nerve. That was enough for two people to report me.

There is a difference though, his (it's you really) average damages are better than yours despite the win rate being down.
