Ships that work for you in ranked...

For me it seems the only one that is my go to ship in ranked is the Mushashi, which is a bit odd as in randoms my go to ships are the Alsace and FDG, sometimes the JB. Cruisers and DD's, not so hot on those although the Buffalo and Seattle are good as is the Fletcher,  beauty of ranked i can play them all usually without any shouting and screaming from my team.

Buffalo has been my ship of choice but today Georgia has been fantastic, look at those secondaries! :cap_rambo:

I am sure this is a :fish_aqua:'ing post for information.  :Smile_great:

13th Season

In Ranked my personal favourite game mode, because it is lower team numbers per side,  I think I can guess with a degree of accuracy if the game is a win or lose by the starting line up of the ships.

as soon as I see 2 x FDG's on my team I know its not going to be an easy win.

Now I am not saying FDG is a bad ship,  I think it is possible one of the most "miss played " in rank battles, ships

You dont see Mogador a lot why? <rhetoric question>

Fletcher is going to be a lot more use along with Jutland in 6 v 6

Part of the charm for me of ranked, is see what other players bring to the table, and see what solutions they use by experience, right now I think so far the current 13th player base is " Strong "

Just some mussing from the Wardroom.

Fletcher and Kitakaze

However, Black and Chung (both with radar) have some quirks in their play that is interesting.

Based on what is played:

World of Kitakaze

(yes jutland and Black are also viable, but not quite so common or effective)

or

World of BB

(Jean Bart and Mushi in particular)

Also 6v6 is great. Its actually possible to hardcarry most potato teams this way :crab:

Fletcher, Seattle and JB.

Had a great streak tonight with all 3 being very strong.

Seattle has a great loadout for ranked.

Radar & hydro +9.6km = awsome.

Musashi

Fletcher

Alaska

and finally Neptune.

Neptune with radar can get the jump on their dd and take it out quickly. But of course you sacrifice yourself most likely.

1match I took out their dd, then their only radar cruiser and 50% of Iowa health before I died.

My teammates with hard work and inspired play managed to loose from 6 v4 with dd and radar advantage!😕

From what I have seen, yes, if you are in a DD like the ones you mentioned. If your team has lost their DDs, unlikely.

Didn't Seattle have 9km radar these days?

I don't have a nice captain on my Seattle to give it a try (and can't really be bothered with it as I have plenty well outfitted ships at tier 9 anyway), but Seattle could be workable giving it's got its merits.

Tried Black, Udaloi and Tashkent so far.

Black seems to be very easy for taking Caps and bullying DDs.

But oh boy, Tashkent is pretty much what I love about the russian DDs.

She can brute force her way through those T9 ships like no other DD.
Of couse I still have to try out Kitakaze but no doubt it will be equally as strong as Tashkent.

Not sure why anyone would take anything but a DD?

They can counter every class and with a gunboat you can even attack radar cruisers and other DDs...
