has anyone been getting rentals premium boats lately?

I have been getting rental premium boats on a random basis, first it was a graf spree, then a molotov, and then a scharnhost. has anyone else been getting the same thing? do also note that I also get a coupon for 50% off the said boat in premium shop.

 

that said, I agree with this kind of direction of giving players some rentals to try out before they pay for them, like in WOT (the only aspect that I liked) with a heavily discounted final price for it.

I have the three mentioned by you so if it is only for this three I will never see it.

There was some special offer in shop occasionally allowing rental of a ship (was it La Terrible?) but final price was not cut in half.

Makes me wonder if someone have seen such a thing for other ships?

Of the three and if I didn't have it already I'd be tempted by the Scharnhorst offer.   Of course it depends if you've got any interest in the German BB line -  I've stopped at the Bismark.

I’m on 2 ends about the Scharnhorst offer, on one end it is certainly fun, on the other end it still means I’m giving money to WG.

also have 2 10 point German cpt, so aready have started KM BBs.

Yeah, I've had Warspite (which I actually am a bit interested in, but still haven't bought) and Graf Spee (lol no – just doesn't appeal).

 

Got a couple of free commanders out of it though.

This. And you haw a T10 AND you do decently well in ranked where you can basically grind out gold ships for "free". That's just a enticing marketing cash grab. Pixel ships are worth only as much as you are readdy to pay for them. And in the end you don't own them, when the game dies. You just pay for access to a funfair.

Aye, and things like Dunkerque and Hill are higher up my list and all. Maybe if it's on some kind of deep discount at some point, but at the same time I'm not sure her unique points are so interesting that I can be bothered spending cold hard cash on them when I can use my Queen Lizzy for free.

Same thing. I have doubted between getting Warspite or a Premium Camo for Queen E. 

Main things seems to be better heal on Warspite, faster turret traverse and less range but more accuracy.

Well they way I use QE is I blast anything under 15km but above that there's no use firing... 

I love the way she goes around like a massive tank though.

Didn't have any rental. Though my friend got Okhotnik, Leningrad and Scharnhorst as rentals.

Sadly no retails for me but I do think it's a good idea to be able to try before you buy.

I agree with not paying WG the amount of money they normally ask for the ships, but I don't understand why it's a big no-no for giving WG a bit of your money when you enjoy playing their product. Mind you, I'm not saying you SHOULD put money into this game, not at all :) 

 

Ontopic: I think it has to do with the amount of money you sink in the game. Those that spend more on tjis game get less benefits, so less rentals it seems.

Paying WG means I support their questionable business practices, that’s what I think at least. They again it’s your money, so I should not tell you what to spend it on anyway.(don’t spend it on drugs tho)
