Long time since last time i've see a bbaby complaint about fire thx i was in need of a good laught, apart from that i don't Like too the lowered citadels and of course Im with you on the revert of the cv rework so 2/3 tumbs up from me

Try specing you captain for survival and buy the modules with fire/flooding mitigation bonuses. That combined with premium consumable and flags should make fire irrelevant. You will still be on fire all game but taking very little damage, all of which is healed by DC.

The only thing i would see changed is  I would like a chance to get on fire not a autofire on hit because when i get hit by 1 (one) HE shell i am on fire all the time. And i mean just 1 shell not salvo...

DD and torpedoes were a weapons platform that was far to difficult for the average member of the player base to learn and adapt to, so they were nerfed and replaced with increased overall gun power, which includes HE and fires.  Not really the choice I would have made, but there it is.

And then I see what ships are in testing... More stupid, high rate of fire, high fire chance ships that have too little armour for armour piercing shells to do sufficient damage. Over the years I have seen more and more ships get their citadels lowered or changed in a way to make it impossible to hit, mainly the American battleships.

Not to mention the overpowered heal that British ships get! WHY?! ALL BATTLESHIPS SHOULD GET THAT KIND OF HEAL, ESPECIALLY TO COUNTER AGAINST THE DUMB DAMAGE OVER TIME AND HIGH EXPLOSIVE SPAM.

 

The aircraft carrier "rework" (ruin) was a joke. I hope that gets reverted as soon as possible. If Wargaming considers that a success, then I'll consider my life a success. Which neither are.

First, you have some good points. Probably by accident.

It's true that WG's focus on pure dps/dot ships is getting annoying, or better, already passed that stage since alternate ijn dds/light US cruisers/etc

It's also true that the british bbs are the epitome of braindead.

 

Second, imagine my amazement, that besides your glorious 75% of shiptypes played being BBs, there's also some room (16%) for cruisers. May I ask what ammo type you are shooting at the masterrace? You unlocked the hipper yesterday I see - (supposedly) know for its AP. You're gonna shoot nothing but AP? Serious question btw.

 

Third. The masterraces.

Again I must agree to something. If you are proposing the same heal for all bbs, I couldn't applaud harder. ON THE CONDITION all bbs get the same armour, the same (new) citadels, very mediocre AA and weak torpedo belt. I could even live with giving them all the same braindead HE, cause it wouldn't take more than a week before 90% of the bb mains would load it by default, and I would get less paranoid in a cruiser out of fear of getting blapped from a random direction, cause there's five masterraces in every frigging game.

If you want them to have to have the same heal and keep their existing armour, you must be going insane.

 

But you'll notice that soon enough with, once again, your new Hipper, which is your highest tier cruiser. I wish you good luck against conquerors, or any BB you'll have the joy of facing. Please come back to this thread after let's say 20 games in her. We'll talk about overpowered HE again.

 

I'm not really up to date about shipclasses in low and mid tiers, but here's another question. If HE spam is so obnoxiously overpowered, especially against poor defensless baby seals in their underpowered battleships, how come there is 5 bbs in 99% of the games? And why is there often only 2 or 3 oh so overpowered cruisers with their mighty thermonuclear HE spam?

but I can tell you, I had only 15 fires in my colbert last night.. with around 2.2k shells fired, roughly 700 hit..

 

2.14 % fire chance..

I say fires are not a problem :)

My colby may use a little more fire chance..

may be like conQ levels? :Smile_trollface:

In fairness we'll have the Pizza Cruisers with their (WIP) long reload soonTM so there is that but yeah, the proof that HE spamming is annoying at worst is that you are more likely to see 5-6 BBs than cruisers, at least in high tiers.

 

And I love how you can now citadel Conquerors, so well done WG on that.
