I enjoyed that game compared to Myogi. im thinking about continuing USN BB line because apparently they are more 'tanky' than IJN ships. but first i will need to work on my angling. Edit: Also been looking at the French BBs

That is what angling means. Sure. The problem is even CA`s have no issues dropping 10k + nukes on gkf, and if you stay nose-in all game, then you`re stuck with 6 guns. WIth a GKF shotgun dispersion. I wish you good luck :) You can`t always control the angliing either, especially if any torpedoes are involved, due to the massive turning circle, and rudder shift. Even hydro is usually not enough to dodge torpedoes "properly".

Edit: Also been looking at the French BBs USN BB's are just as good as IJN for teaching the basics of BB play, slow speed early on can actually be advantageous in the long run as it should help you consider your positioning relative to how you think the battle will play out and where you need to be to make the largest impact. Slow speed and being out of place is a nightmare which you ideally want to avoid so good positioning and watching the flow of battle is a good skill to learn. In the end though both Yamato and Montana are good T10's and either one wont be a regret, having said that take your time with each ship. Don't skip any as they all help you learn. If I may make another suggestion, while you're concentrating on a couple of BB lines try and get an idea of how the other classes play as well, especially Cruisers and DD's, that knowledge will help you as BB player too.
