Lootboxes that may or not drop a tier 5-8 DD. With the neverending twitching of carriers and AA, it is unpredictable how frequent the carrier games will be at the time of the French DDs launch. The Baguette DDs look fun, CV population has dropped significantly again as well and I have an obvious obsession concerning the collection of virtual warships. The event may be quite grindy for me (collecting all the tokens from all of my fleet will take some time...), but at least it doesn't seem to force me to play daily like the Benham grind. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It's clearly written for someone who has a PhD (or higher). On a more serious note: Benham was bad, Benham in full holiday season was bad. French DD-event appears to be bad as well, let alone in full holiday season. Probably gonna knock off the coal & tokens, and that's it. The token mission is nice enough motivation to dust of some ships I should enjoy more often and all the other stuff just comes as you play. Otherwise these walls of texts describing the event are pretty silly IMO. I've scanned it quickly, but who actually would bother reading the whole thing and taking it to heart? :D Suprised that WG is continuously coming up with these without thinking to themselves "Hmm, this looks quite complicated, maybe we should simplify this.." :D If the directives are more like the current one then I guess I wont bother too much with it, I don't like being forced into playing CVs or a different game mode just to progress. Yes, in particular I was thinking of the Directives that could be completed with any RN DD (that existed at the time of the promo) and the ones that could only be done with T7 and T8 DDs... It really helped that I liked the Savage battles so much, even though in the end I'm more of a PvE guy. If a game has no PvE, then I'm not really interested anymore.
