Ah, yes, forgot about those. The 20-mission and the 3 containers finally gave me a 2nd bonus mission - Jaguar.

They need to display the end date on the event in game. I missed the post and didn't know it ended 2 days before the missions end and would be over before I woke up. Missed the Siroco by a couple of games.

Yes, this is an unforgivable recurring problem. There is no reason why the deadline for the directives shouldn't be prominently visible on the directives screen. You can check the deadline on the 'Hall of Fame', but this is an unnecessarily convoluted and obscure method of displaying this fundamental information. Even worse, three different (!) deadlines were published for the 'Symbols of France' mechanic: one hidden under a tooltip on each symbol in the carousel (2019-08-20T00:00Z or thereabouts, apparently. I never noticed it while the Symbols were present), one in the 0.8.6 patch notes (the end of the patch, i.e.: 2019-08-22T05:00Z, according to the 0.8.7 patch notes) and finally one in the 'Events' tab in the client (an image with a GIANT Symbol of France is shown, with the numbers '24.07-21.08', presumably referring to the interval from 2019-07-24 to 2019-08-21). This sort of nonsense is inexcusable for a multi-million euro publisher such as Wargaming.

Hmm, so the only French containers I wasn't able to get were the 4 in the third directive requiring French DDs (or various nation higher tier premiums unavailable to me), 4 in the last "Play with us" twitch mission (bloody last stage of 2000 baseXP, spent all day yesterday trying to complete it to no avail - of course I managed to complete the previous 1900 requirement with a 2570 baseXP battle, go figure...) and obviously the 1 for the last stage of the mission requiring 2750 baseXP (that was never gonna happen).

 

All that meaning that I got about 12 containers from the directives (3+4+1+4), 8 from various Twitch missions(6+2), 6 from daily mission wrappers (1+2+3), 3 from Daily shipments (1+2).

Total: 29 containers. Result: No mission for any french DD.

 

I would be much more sure of myself if the directives remained to be viewable for longer (could honestly have been up to 15 containers from those, but 12 is the conservative estimate). There might also have been more containers rewarded for the Crysantos Twitch challenges than one per mission, but I don't recall exactly.

 

If anybody remembers (or screenshotted) specific amounts and sources of containers, I'd be glad to know them, cause honestly, 29 feels way lower than I was estimating throughout. Feels like I missed some source entirely.

@Toivia I do not open reward tab in port for that reason. When an event ends I click it and get the summary of what I've got from various missions and directives during the event duration. The only thing that is not accounted is the daily login stuff and direct drops such as twitch drops and daily containers.

As far as the "reward tab" goes, I haven't opened it in ages. I think it currenty shows me all the recent event ships and about 170 more rewards. Maybe the containers are in there, but it would force me to actually open it and scroll through... And then I wouldn't know when it breaks.

When do the "French destroyer event" with french tokens end? The first one(with the republic tokens ended suddenly, thus I failed to complete the last directive. I want to avoid this with the second one. Last directive just started.

 

I can't easily find information about the end date. This should be clearly stated in the client. Maybe I am just blind...

The current second part of the french event should probably end on the 12.* accoding to when the Hall of fame ends.

 

*maybe it's 13. not exactly sure.
