Invisible info from a player

Question

Might be a noob question but can't find a reply anywhere.

There was a player which played quite odd (but has 1st rank in 'Ranked') and I was going to check his stats but there is an 'invisible symbol' preventing me to see the Battles/Victories.

What's that about? You can hide those?

Hello,

Yes on your profile page (website) you have this option to hide stats.

Some players whant to avoid XVM (or others tools) and stats bashing.

But onestly I never seen a good player with stats hided.

I didn't say he was a good player. But he did have the 1st rank in the current 'Ranked'.

Can't see much more than that I'm afraid.

Alright, thanks for the info.

1st rank in Ranked means nothing. You would need to see how much games it took to get there. With a private profile you can't check if he was good or died his way through. Thats probably 1 of the reasons why he hides it :Smile_teethhappy:

Edit: There are a lot of good players who stop at a certein rank cause they can't stand the stupidity of such "die to top" players^^

I know the 1st rank means nothing, that's why I said that I never said he was a good player.

I suck most of the time but don't see the reason to hide the stats, I don't really care.

I was just curious because I haven't see hidden stats so far (not that I checked many anyways).

Probably because you didn't bother to look.

Hidden stats equaling bad stats is just a commonly used tinfoil hat theory that holds true for everyone believing in it as it can't be proven otherwise (due to lack of access to the hidden stats).

Hidden stats don't mean bad player. Average stats don't mean bad player either. Lots of people play for fun and some don't want to engage publicly in these kind of convos

Alright, thanks for the info.

It's not hard to get into R1 on sprint. (Don't look at me I don't have time on the summer to play :Smile-_tongue:)

Some good players hide their stats so they dont get focused by people running stat monitors.
