Hi all,

Have you guys seen the graphs from CC Summit 2019 presentation by WG!

For example:

lLUufNz.jpg

FDBvjYP.jpg

lUMdYqr.jpg

i7ZvaP2.jpg

YyVDWOc.jpg

RNcyMlV.jpg

I found them in @Flambass video:

Does anyone, hopefully, knows if we can get hold of them directly (i.e. as proper presentation and not just some images from the video)? :Smile_hiding:

Why would you want to?

I'm positive some of those graphs are at least misleading or outright incorrect. Like that graph that shows average damage of old and new CVs, but does not show how the damage of new CVs has fluctuated and is currently higher. And that last one about average kills with flat lines in the middle of each graph... there must be something wrong with the data that resulted in those.

Yup, especially the cv graphs.

Basically carriers are topping both the average damage and the game influence charts.

And stupidest part? Wargaming said that they would rather have a high carrier population and have carriers be a popular class, than to actually balance them with the rest of the ships.

They actually think that popularity of carriers is more important than balance. What an absolute joke.

And I can pretty much guarantee you that whatever graphs you, I or anyone else on these forums could come up with if we had that data, would be just as flawed and biased, intentionally or not.

So yeah, I think it's much better that WG doesnt give us this level of detailed information - wouldnt help any balance discussions one bit, would just give people a lot more clubs to hit eachother over the head with...

The graph you're thinking is this. Taken from Uocat's stream.

"Combat effectiveness" is their own metric. No idea what it actually measures.

TLDR

CV performance will be adjusted to appease the players that do have CVs (WG will not want to lose any more CV players).

As CV numbers get reduced, DD players show up in similar numbers.

Battleship, and Cruiser numbers on average. Have not dropped since the rework of CV.

Combat Effectiveness in Tier 8 ships (greatest to least) is as follows:

Cruiser      = 40.1%

Battleship = 27.9%

Destroyer  = 22.6%

Carrier       = 9.4%

Old CV did far more damage than New CV (so all you naysayers have a proof now).

New CV has a better learning curve than old CV.
