Version 8.5 - Frame Rate Drop and Port CPU Raise

Since this patch I have noticed a drop in frame rate during battles. Idling in port also seem to use more resourses.

 

Am I the only one seeing this as I have not seen any other threads

CPU... are you using an NVIDIA card? There has been some driver issue causing "NVDisplay.Container.exe" to utalize your CPU quite heavily.

Yes graphics card is NVIDIA. Is there a fix for this?

It is much worse since this update. I use the black hole port via Modstation and it is still terrible. My wireless mouse sometimes lags behind it is so bad. The release notes say port was optimised but I would disagree.

 

The frame rate is the worst problem though, low double digits and even single figures are happening regularily.

I had the same issue a few days ago, updating the driver helped on my end. Maybe you check the cpu load of "NVDisplay.Container.exe" in your task manager first. For me it was 20-30%. Now its back to almost zero again.
