You have to be premium and pay for a bunch of flags and camos and play A LOT to have a chance of getting 'Benham'.

 

As a non-premium, you can play all day long and you will won't get it.

 

That's the point. Advertising it as 'free' when it's not. Not the first time. Certainly not the last.

Yes I have a year of premium account so it's ok price. And of you don't have time to grind, the Benham is much more expensive than the year of premium account.

I do understand your point. I just mean that is better to get a year of premium account than the Benham.

If you play about 3 hours daily, you can get Benham IF you put in some more time say on weekends to complete the credit missions and the directive grind. That is without the need for premium or any fancy signals/camos, really.

 

Needless to say, that is wildly outside of "casual player" territory. That is in fact well outside of "sane person playing online games" territory.

It probably is. I gave up on the Benham. Invested my tokens in premium days, with the 200% bonus I made tons of captain and free xp points.

WG why in the quest "special marathon 48missions" you say, ends 22/07 but the day 22 dont give you missions ?? i miss that and lost the marathon for only one daily mission

It's their way of counting time and I also find it confusing.

 

I would always assume that the last day of the event (22nd in this case) is the last day you have to play the event, not the day that you cannot play any longer and the last day was actually the previous one - the 21st.

 

Might be region-sensitive (about expressing time, when something ends) but personally I find it confusing.

It's always better assuming events end on the stated day but early in the morning (european server also resets on 02:00 UTC), thus no more playable that day (which usually is true, not always though).

 

The fact that this particular Benham grind screws with you the moment you make such a benign mistake though is infuriating as stated numerous times.

Yeah, indeed.

 

I believe that many will be missing that one day (like me).

 

I know in advance that it will actually end a day before stated (21st as opposed to 22nd written in all news articles and in-game UI) but there will be so many players who don't follow the forums, the comments or any other additional information that will wait for that last day (22nd) to finish the daily missions and then get a nasty surprise. Not a pleasant one .

Umm, @Crysantos, @MrConway, is it intended that the default premium camo for Benham has the T2-T8 bonuses instead of the expected T9 bonuses? Cannot think of another T9 ship that would have only +50% XP and -10% service cost. Instead they have +100% XP and -20% service cost.

I believe it ends today, that is the missions that are active now will expire tomorrow at 07.00 CET. It is always confusing the way Wargaming represents the end dates. I believe it has something to do with people playing through the evening and into the night. So to have the missions expire in the morning is sensible. But they could state 21. as the last day instead of the 22.

 

My grind ended today at 750 fuel tokens, and missing just one day. It is how Wargaming designed the missions, very, very hard to complete. However, it is just 4500 doubloons to get 4 crates with a total of 60 fuel tokens. Working as intended I guess.

 

Remembering the server issues the other day during this "marathon", it is strange that they did not extend the time limit with one day at least. But this is Wargaming.

 

Still I am quite happy with the outcome, having grinded a lot of credits, and some captain XP from the event.

Seems like you're still in the process of finishing that last one which should bring you to 48/48 and award you with 100 fuel tokens.

Oh well... you will never get those 48/48 then.

 

If you don't have the 800 fuel tokens you'll either have to skip Benham or do what WG wants you to do - buy premium containers.

This is a known bug that will be resolved with the update this week!

Im bought 7 box for a 7500 because need 105 (only 29 dali mission)  but its find in one  box pernamet camo for Grozovoi DD tir X for 6000 dublon

Afaik they stated that nothing is currently planned as far as other avenues to getting Benham.

 

But you know, wait a couple months and it'll definitely at least get added to boxes that could reward other T9 premiums. I would stay that it's bound to show up again in the armory for a traditional ressource (coal, steel or outside of armory for FreeXP), but they're pumping out so many new T9-10 premiums that there's no real need to pad the numbers for them. So that will probably take quite a while at least.
