Well i was wrong about savage not counting for dailies so that makes a little more sense now (easy to miss the way it is written + never did so before).

But 1 kill in the mode is roughly 25k silver so 672 kills to finish the money mission (granted the cash might be better for killing higher tier of the ships) that's 27 / day every day :D which is probably even worse than i thought :D

 

Hill gives 3/day so +- 75 / event (if you buy it) but i don't have a clue if it gives silver or dubs on end

I have played this game since 2015. The Benham DD is by far the hardest to get reward ship ever by far, and seems on paper (16 Fletcher torps with Fletcher reload) to be totally OP and desirable. But wargaming require we totally commit to the game to achieve this in a way they never did before. Forget all the other fuel missions, there is ONLY one that matters this time, the so called 'marathon' taht gives 100 token WITHOUT WHICH you cannot get the Benham. You can either achieve the 'marathon' target or not, there is no middle ground, so you either get those 100 token or not; one must not miss more than ONE day in a month and on each day you must achieve BOTH of the daily missions. By definition, a mere second day in a month not wholly dedicated to the game, or three occasions in which you achieved one rather than two daily missions will leave a player with a maximum of 750 tokens. In such a case 4 crates giving 15 tokens each must be purchased to achieve the required 800. Outrageous and despicable. Between this (which deliberately treats us with contempt) and the CV rework the game is really going downhill.

The requirements to get Benham are ridiculous and obviously been designed that way so people would be pretty much forced to shell out for premium crates and I find these sort of game/event design disgusting. I realize they need to make money but this is not the way. I actually went and buy the 7 crates for 7500 doubloons and got no premium camo obviously... Got 20000 coal, about 45 expendable camo and that was it. Oh almost forgot about the fuel tokens, got 105 of them too which is also ridiculously small amount. For 7500 Doubloon or £23.09!! In order for you to skip the event fully and get the Benham by buying crates you'd need to spend £177.07!!!! Fair enough you may get lucky and get a permanent camo or 2 but let's face it... none of those worth £177!

These crates are gamble at it's worst with crap odds and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. This was the last time I've spent any money on any crates. 

Savage battles are boring arcady torpedo fests so thank you but no thank you. You can keep your Benham WG.

The mission requirements are just disgusting. For me (and probably 98% of the players) totally impossible. If there was a middle way, where you could buys tokens for a reasonable price I would consider throwing in some money. But this is just totally stupid. No money from me.

TAKE MY MONEY!... cough cough.. bought hill because I cannot make the latest mission farm I think. And I bought 32 containers, the value in the 7 extra I bought (of the 25) was bigger per doubloon spent as I got 1 camo in each of them (for the T10 dd's)..  But, this let's me play for fun rather than sacrifice 1 month of my life which I cannot, as I have vacation, family and a job to take care of.. So, just about 100€ spent once every second month or so, not too bad, but then again.. This grind is serious, first T9 you can get totally for free in this way, but again.. quite an investment..

 

So, what I buy is time off, time to play casually, not burn out, not stress out, time with family and friends instead of wows. Not that I've not got good friends here.. And I like to think I help contribute to the game being "free to play" for those that want it totally free.

So you spent more than 130 euros on the event on the first day. GJ! This behavior is exactly what Wargaming wants. Your action is promoting mindless grindfest events like this. Congratulations!

I am not bothered with the grind, wont do any of it! I could care less about the T9 Destroyer as its locked behind a quite frankly stupid game design in the torp wall cluster mess that is rouge war map. Nah, I will play a few games with my Khaba and then log off as usual!

It is basically unfinishable without buying containers. 48 out of 50 daily missions? Come on....

Just noticed that the Carnal seems to be a bit weak compared to the other event ships, it is a short range knife fighter, that is too slow to catch up on all other ships.

For all of you who want to visit Prague the next days - DON'T DO IT!!

There is obviosly a very dangerous disease spreading, a virus or something, which irreversibly damages your brain!

Just take a look at the WOWS team responsible for this madness for example! I dont think so many people can go crazy and completely lose their minds at once, so there should be another explanation. Like a deadly virus!

 

Stay away from Prague guys! Don't lose your minds like the poor WOWS dudes!

4 solo kills (so one whole enemy team + 1/3 of another)  + damaged 2 more and still lost about 30-40k... for veterans not really a problem but for new people this probably will be quite problematic...

 

common WG don't push your TX economic BS that is designed to force people to buy premium and/or TX perma cammo into fun modes... you can do better.

I'm really enjoying the savage battles, but I am sad that as a premium player with 2 kids, wife, work etc, that getting 800 is well impossible in the 2-3 hours max I can spend each day playing. Having re-read the full guide and seen how little chance I have in actually making 800 (I think the 48 times is already gone..... I have 5 right now).

 

I hope WG read all the very valid post above and do something about it. May I suggest they put in a 50 token reward at 25 completed missions or other ways to earn more.

There is an office in Prague, but that one is only for community guys, not the developers. If you have issue with any content in game, it's the office in St. Petersburg (I think that's where CCs just had a summit?) to blame.

That said, do not go to Prague anyway, too freaking hot lately.

Which ships are you playing? The first 2 tiers are easily making credits. If the third is losing credits, it means you should alternate ships.

Seems best way to get "through" the Rougue Wave mode is just to spam the ships, start battle, run to enemy ships, be killed, rinse and repeat. No skill, just spam battles. The credits earnings in the combat mission counts gross income, not income after costs. So just spam ships.

Well, sometimes you can get very nice battles if you try a bit more than just ships/battles spamming.
Here an example - we, 3 completely random dudes in a random team, managed to kill all the other guys. Of course we had the better ships too, but still, it wasn't easy. But I agree with you, such battles are very rare and if you dont have the time, the strategy you mentioned is a valid one.

 

As for the mode - it can be funny, but only for the first 5-10 battles. The other good thing about it IMO is the commander XP you get from it. That's it.

I wont say anything more about the totally insane requirements for getting the tier 9 DD. I was willing to buy the tokens I need at the end, but seriously, buying those tokens will only encourage and increase the greediness of WG. And the requirements of the next event will be even more crazy and WG will be even more greedy. So, it's up to us, the paying players, we decide how greedy WG can become.

My Hall of Fame is stucked on dates 24-25.06....showing that I will receive top 5% rewards. Still no rewards, or update of points for me. Anyone else has this issue? Or maybe I am missing something?

Everything is working as intended. You shoud have received the rewards for that last day of the Victory event the next day (or any day before the 0.8.5 update). If you haven't logged in after that last day of the Victory event yet before the Thursday update, you lost the rewards (as noted several times in patch notes, Victory event description etc.).

Next hall of fame bracket will open after you complete all directives of the current stage, which will happen in two weeks at the fastest. Same as it always worked.
