1_FaLcoN_1 Players 11 posts 15,968 battles Report post #1 Posted June 23, 2019 lets start from the beginning.... i got couple of chat bans (i am not saying i didnt deserve them) yesterday i was in a battle,specifically tier 8 battle and i was with the USS Kidd i got 3 devastating strike with torpedoes,and the third one i just launched them a second or so before dying at a Bayern which was around 2-2.5Km away and i wrote in the general chat "bye",then the achievement dev strike and flesh wound pop up and i wrote "hahahhaha" after that i got chat banned i tried contacting wargaming support about that around 3 hours ago,not because i care that much about the chat ban,it was only 24 hours after all and it expires tonight 23rd of June 2019 at 23:00 EEST but because i want to know why i got chat banned wargaming responded with an automated message and close the ticket in conclusion my account is flagged for chat rules violations and now i get chat banned just because a player who doesnt like how i am playing or an enemy that dies at my hand,or whatever other reasons reports me and when contacting support they respond to you with an automated message i am going to restrain myself from violating forum rules as well,but in the case someone from wargaming is reading this just know i have more than a few "kind" words to describe your customer support and your "flawless" in game report system Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Chat Ban! If they went in to cases like this in detail it would defeat the purpose of the automated system. The justification behind no appeals is that the punishment isn't that severe. If you receive a 1 day chat ban it doesn't massively inconvenience you, while it might not have been a justified chat ban the policy here is that the consequences are too small to spend an employee's time on. Reviewing appeals costs money. Pick one upcoming premium ship. Start a campaign to have it removed from the upcoming list and have the money used to employ people to review 24 hour chat bans instead. Otherwise the system is what the system is, not enough people care about an unfair 24 hour chat ban for WG to make spending money on a non-profit aspect of the game a priority. Reports accumulate and the system does not necessarily ban you immediatly. It might be that you are already in another match, while you still get reports for the last one in which you insulted someone or have been extremly salty or otherwise disturbing. In such cases you get your ban once your current match ends but the current match had nothing to do with it. I have serious doubts that people who get bans repeatedly are in any way suddenly tame innocent lambs. More then one such thread ended with Crysantos, Sehales or MrConway entering (and closing) with the retorical question if they should publish some chat protocolls of those "innocents".
