What makes a great game to you?

For me... hard fort games maybe a clutch win at the end...

Problem is most games i see are like these:

 

 

They make for poor games for both sides!   is this what WGing thinks we want in games... fast as posible over before the game gets going!  

And is it me or tier 10 just full of the worst players! is it ebay accounts

or some one that plays a lot of games but forgot how to learn to play the game on the journy?

Oh, you mean WoWS? A close game were I am happy with putting in effort to narrowly win a game not by carrying my teammates but by beating good enemy players. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen often these days. It's why I'm almost not playing WoWS at all. And I won't be in July as I'll be taking my yearly break to go to my country home with no internet or electricity so I can work on my bikes in peace without you lot bothering me

a well contested fight between 2 teams, nothing wrong in losing if both fought well and the outcome is still undecided in the final seconds, the rofl stomps are simply boring

Citadel hits, lots of.  Win or lose, if I've nuked a lot of cits I'm a happy bunny - especially if it involves dev strikes.

For me it's how much I did in the battle and games where I did a lot and you still lose are enjoyable to a degree 

But I can't stand the games where its a whitewash even if my team wins

Defeating enemies in mid-close range combat, or fall upon them in aircraft.

 

Since most compliments ( playing CV makes them dissappear again  ) are given by enemy players after very close call duels i am not the only one liking to fight at these ranges with all weapons a ship has.

Every game where I feel like I pulled my weight. Win, loss, numbers of enemies or friendlies killed, doesn't matter.

 

Performance of the rest of my team also doesn't matter, as long as no one starts complaining about noob teams or similar stuff. Such complaints reduce my enjoyment massivly, no matter if they come from an elite player with an attitude or a noob itself with lack of self-reflection.

I had a game a couple of days ago where I was sailing my Atlanta and this DD asked me in chat to support him. And I did; he covered me with smoke and I used radar to spot approaching enemies.

We won and I felt it was a good game as I supported someone asking for support and I didn't screw up.

Getting Sinop shine in a game like this ( Narai, this week Op.) - 350 dam, killing Missou single-handed, ramming Shchors , survive and ram Colorado next. I just love my Sinop !

A great game for me is doing well in a ship i normally do bad in (leander, georgia) or Doing lots of damage and managing to pull a defeat and smash it into non-existance, embracing victory forevah.

4 ships per side left, close on points and caps, I can make the difference, I can win this game................................. but 2 of the remaining ships are CV, and it's wave after wave of aircraft and I literally can't move.

It doesn't matter how good you are if you look up and there's 3 of you left against 9.

That and not accidently sinking team mates

Well I had a couple of cruiser game games earlier on and survived, that made it good for me

I play solo and have a OK wr for it... The game that I played vs the cat clan... You had 2 on 1 side and 1 on the other.. 1 side lost... Why?

I play solo a lot and have rarely these defeats.

How should I know? I played 1000th of battles and I was probably not even there.
