Are the containers given out as soon as you reach 10 points, or is it at the end of the event? i got a lot more than 10 points yesterday but no containers.

They will be credited after the event is over as stated in the article:

Spoils credited by: Fri. 28 Jun. 23:59 CEST (UTC+2) / your local time: Fri. 28 Jun. 23:59

If I can give a few cents to this event.

Making the winning the battle the 'secondary objective' implies that you need to get the main objective to do the secondary objective.  which confused me a bit

750xp at those tiers is only really doable on a win. from looking at my few attempts in an NO, roughly the bottom 3 winning team don't get it, and the top 3 losers get it.

it's a slight shame there are no direct carrier requirements when FSW containers are involvved

I like the event, but it does feel a bit ephemeral with no in game acknowledgement (though from reading the thread it sounds like youve realised this arleady :P)

Gave up - too many players exploit the requirements and the games are pretty effing bad as a result. It doesn't help that you can't keep track on your progress in the in-game client.

Better luck next time, WG.

Yes, they do.

Unfortunately we don't have that functionality for this event but all battles during the event timeframe are counted.

We'll publish the results after the event is done - this way the team choice won't be influenced by the current team score either :Smile_honoring:

Well to get those containers you only have to get 10 points, so I think that's easily doable even with a packed RL weekend. For the top prizes, yes they are for those who invest extra time to fight for their team - but we'll consider adding some randomly distributed prizes for the next event.

Well, I guess however we do it, there will be someone who is unhappy with the setup of the event. This time we wanted to give you a reason and incentive to play mid-Tiers specifically and to focus on this aspect. We'll consider how to improve the reward structure for the future without making it too complicated.

While Sharks & Eagles might be similar as example, the design for this is different. Each side has a different setup - one is easier with less rewards, the other one is harder but with better rewards. We'll see how it goes - the better players will probably go for the harder side and offset amount of players with better scores. But I get your point about the incentives for each side, thanks for the inpit.

Yes, 2x containers once you reach the threshold of 10 teampoints, not per 10 teampoints and an additional 2x containers in case your team wins. You can't look up your teampoints but I'm sure it's easy for you to track your points with the set milestones of 750/1250XP and wins.

Greetings, Crysantos

Thank you for responding, have a nice day ahead.:Smile_playing:

Could you please explain what you mean? That they play for the win?

Well, you would get the first price and the containers :Smile_honoring:

Thanks for the feedback, we'll try to incorporate that for the next event!

How about even lower tier version of this? On the Battle of Jutland anniversary next year for example? With tier 3 and 4 German and Brit ships only? Hard mode for the Germans with the Siegfried as top reward while "only" Vanguard for the easy Brits?

Some of those lower tier ships has a lot of history. Still they all mostly neglected.

(btw: have you guys ever considered to bring HMS Caroline, the sole survivor of Jutland, into the game? As a low tier RN Prem? Every other major naval nation has it's own in game...)

Just thinkin'...

I don't understand a bit. I didn't get the basic experience(1250xp), but can I get a point score if I win the battle?

Yes, you get one point for the win even if you didn't meet the XP target. The way it was laid out confused me too until that was clarified.

On the whole I love getting rewarded for doing something you'd do anyway. It's nice to lower the bar to T4 to be a bit more inclusive, but the T7 cut-off doesn't really make sense to me.

And I'm not just saying that because I managed a 824XP base game in co-op in my Benson, and then realised afterwards that Benson is T8 and it wasn't worth anything :Smile-_tongue:

great idea, with potential, just needs QOL improvements, and an in game update/news widget and a less 'grindy' feel to it, especially for more competitive gamers, without at least some indicator of how the sides are actually performing.. but great to get those tier ships out again, on the anniversary of the actual event arc. Thiese kind of in-game arcs, parallel to the other evnents and challenges, is a fun way to retain new playees, and attract new players too.

The increasing importance of real world naval history, and kind of 'simulating' those actual battles is a huge attractor for many naval history oriented players.  WoWs and WG consistent focus on incorporating a lot of real world warship history keeps many working  professionals , (who afford to buy those hugely over priced bundles :-O) with disposable leisure actual gaming time , and  limited; who allocate an hour or two when they can to be immersed in this intriguing product.

Beside the historians, there are ofc also the collectors, naval maritime oriented who play for medals and rare ships, and quite easily pay to, which hopefully WG would reward in WoWs now and then, (as they do in Wot and WoWp)  so they can fill the gaps of the rare unavailable ships, which they missed  getting, but have a port slot berth ready in their port to mak it complete. B4 the internet they would labouriously build model ships, and go to board gaming... now they have WoWs... but every now and then they should get the chance to get that 'missing link' ship...

But cudos for a different in game dynamic mode as such, great potential , can only get even better, hope it does.. so thanks WG & wd!

I lost count on Sunday...hope I did enough.

If there's a next time I'll do the sensible thing and just do enough qualifying games in a row to meet the requirement so I don't need to stress about that afterwards. :Smile-_tongue:
