So I run Win 7 and I used to be able to play replays but now it won't let me associate the replay files with the wows.exe. It constantly tries to open with Abode Reader...

I've enabled replays using the wows mod program.

  1. Go to your replay folder.
  2. Right-click on the replay you want to open.
  3. From the context menue chose "open with".
  4. Depending on your system either chose the "WorldofWarships.exe" or the "WorldofWarships64.exe" in the "bin32" or "bin64" folders in your game directory.
  5. Make sure that the mark is set on "always open the selected file type with this program" (not exactly sure if it is named like that on an english version of Win7 but is should be clear what I meant when you see it).

Some of the time commands, fast forward, rewind can crash the replay if you go too quickly, just hit it once for a couple of minute skip then let it level out and hit it again. I tend not to use speed up/slow down as they're unpredictable.
